Amber is an entirely new way of thinking about buying, banking and selling energy where home energy technology works to put money back in customers’ pockets and accelerate the renewable energy transition. We’re an Australian headquartered company, where we are both an energy technology company and a utility providing energy directly to households and small businesses. In Australia (the world leader on rooftop solar and a 2-way energy grid), we’ve proven that the cheapest, fastest and most rewarding way to reach 100% renewables is to automate the growing wave of home batteries, EVs, and other smart energy devices. Customers get direct access to the real-time electricity prices and the technology to shift energy usage to the times when cheaper renewables are available in the grid and export to the grid at times when the price they can be paid for it is highest. We are a clear market leader in energy automation in Australia, and are now partnering with utilities across Europe to bring our technology to European markets and consumers. We’re at a critical moment in taking the business to scale in Europe. You’ll be joining a rapidly growing regional team of 15, and be part of a global team of over 220, with expertise across energy, technology, marketing, and operations. We’re committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace and a great culture of people who love coming to work to build a better world. We’re backed by leading VCs in Australia and Europe, as well as impact-focused investors and world-leading energy companies. At Amber, we believe that enabling a culture where everyone is set up to do the best work of their lives, and feels connected and supported, is one of the most important things we can do to ensure our long-term success. Want to help improve the environment by shifting the world’s energy usage towards renewables? We are currently hiring for a Full Stack Software Engineer. Amber provides a great opportunity to apply your skills as an Engineer to help enable the uptake of renewable energy. Our technology optimises thousands of batteries and other devices in the customers' homes, enabling them to time their usage to consume power at times of high renewable penetration (and cheap prices), and then export power back to the grid at critical times - letting them outbid energy generators and earn potentially >£50 in an afternoon. The Amber Electric product team develops and supports: • Home automation integrations (to batteries, hot water systems and pool pumps, with EVs coming soon) that control electricity usage in response to pricing and renewable availability, • Mobile & Web apps for customers to monitor and manage their energy usage, • A pricing and billing engine for real time energy pricing The tech stack is React Native mobile app, some React web frontends, and a Serverless Lambda backend on AWS. We’re using Typescript top to bottom, and Apollo GraphQL sits in the middle. We keep our data in DynamoDB, Postgres, and Snowflake, using one or the other as best suits a particular workload. You can learn more about our tech stack at _ While we’re looking for talented and driven individuals our desire is to build a champion team, not a team of champions. We’re full-stack-ish; while it’s impossible for everyone to excel across every layer of the stack we value people who can chip in wherever they’re needed. We’re committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace from the ground up. We want engineers who are as comfortable communicating with people as they are with their code. At Amber, we want to hire self-starters who are eager to learn, and are comfortable working in a changing environment. Some of the key traits we are looking for in this role: • You have a positive mindset: equal parts curious, collaborative, and can-do, • Between 3 and 5 years of commercial development experience in either Web or Mobile environments, • Commercial experience with the specific technologies in our stack is a strong plus, • Experience with languages sharing features with Typescript is also a plus (such as JavaScript, C#, Go, or similar), • We favour generalists who can be flexible across the stack, both frontend and backend, • Strong verbal and written communication skills built on a foundation of empathy for your fellow humans is essential, with English proficiency of C1/C2 level at a minimum, • Additional language skills, particularly in European languages, are a bonus and may support broader team and customer engagement., • Write and maintain high quality program code across the stack in the areas of your specialty, • Flexibly contribute outside your specialty in other areas of the stack supporting your team when they need it, • Work collaboratively with your peers in product and across the wider company to ensure you're always shipping the right thing the right way at the right time, • Research, consult, analyse, and evaluate our system requirements, • Test, debug, diagnose, and correct errors in our tech stack according to our operational specifications, • Support the app across the whole lifecycle from idea through to production, • The role will see you working directly with external clients while collaborating across internal teams, including leadership, product, design, and engineering to deliver impactful solutions., • We’re committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace and a great culture of people who love coming to work to build a better world, • Join a growing technology start-up that will shape the future of household renewable energy use, • You’d be a part of a growing team of over 220 people with expertise across energy, technology, marketing, and operations, • Flexible working hours & remote working - see "How You Work" for more info, • Competitive salary within your local market, • Share options in Amber Electric, • Employment and leave entitlements as per your local country, • An external Employee Assistance Plan for mental health support, • Annual Learning & Development budget to support your personal growth, • Annual company conference in Melbourne, Australia. Between £45,000 and £70,000 base per annum. All roles at Amber include employee stock options. This is a full-time role to be based ideally from the UK/Germany/Netherlands. We do have a co-working space in London where we work flexibly between the office and home. You will be working predominantly remotely within a high-trust environment where transparency and accountability are foundational to our engineering culture. Amber's flexible approach allows you to shape your schedule around core collaboration hours, which are 7am - 12pm Tuesdays and Thursdays London time. This overlap enables meaningful collaboration with your Australian colleagues. Outside these core hours, we trust you to manage your time effectively. We focus on outcomes and impact rather than hours logged, but we do expect consistent communication and reliable delivery on commitments. Regular check-ins and transparent progress updates are part of how we maintain this balance of freedom and responsibility. We value work-life balance and sustainable pace—we don't want team members to overwork or burn out, nor do we expect you to be available 24/7. Instead, we promote clear boundaries and open dialogue about workload and capacity. Our headquarters is located in Melbourne, Australia, with a second co-working office/space in Sydney, Australia. Our European team operates from a central London hub that you will travel to during your onboarding, and approximately every 2 months thereafter for team collaboration. These in-person sessions help strengthen relationships and reinforce our collaborative culture. We also have AmberCon every year, this is a big team calendar event and we will fly you to Melbourne to be there with the rest of the team. We will always cover flights, accommodation and other travel costs as part of our travel policies. If this kind of work gets you excited, we'd love to hear from you! Even if you don’t meet 100% of the requirements listed above, we still encourage you to apply. We're open to all backgrounds and encourage people from underrepresented groups to apply. We never discriminate on the basis of race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, or disability status. Please include your resume and a cover letter and tell us: • One specific way you could use your technical skills to improve a household's energy use under the Amber model. Our process will generally be as follows: • A screening interview with our talent team, • A take-home technical challenge that should take no longer than four hours, • A follow up interview with two members of the engineering team, • A culture interview with two members of the engineering leadership team We promise to be respectful of your time as an applicant while trying to be as thorough as possible in finding the right fit for our team. Only applicants with full working rights in the UK/Europe region will be considered for the role. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted promptly. All other applicants will also be notified of the outcome as soon as possible. No recruitment agencies please. We are already working with our preferred partners. Thank you! Flosum is a bootstrapped, profitable B2B SaaS company building the leading Salesforce-native DevSecOps, Data Protection, and Security platform. Our solutions are trusted by Fortune 500 enterprises in the most heavily regulated industries on the planet — financial services, healthcare, government, and insurance. We’re not a startup burning cash and chasing vanity metrics. We’re a proven, scaling business that reached profitability on our own terms. As a Salesforce Summit Partner and Innovation Award winner, we’ve earned our seat at the table alongside the biggest names in enterprise software. Built 100% on the Salesforce platform. Serving enterprises that demand zero compromise on security, compliance, and reliability. We are entering an aggressive growth phase — expanding our product surface, deepening our platform capabilities, and accelerating our delivery velocity. We need senior-caliber Node.js developers who can own significant parts of our architecture and ship production code that enterprise customers depend on daily. This is not a staff augmentation seat. You will work directly with engineering leadership, product managers, and the CEO. Your decisions will have real consequences, your opinions will be heard, and your craftsmanship will be visible to the customers who rely on our platform. • High-performance backend services and APIs powering enterprise-grade SaaS applications, • Scalable, secure Node.js micro services and integrations within the Salesforce ecosystem, • Modern front-end experiences using Vue.js and TypeScript that serve demanding enterprise users, • CI/CD pipeline tooling, automation frameworks, and developer productivity infrastructure, • Real-time data processing and event-driven architectures handling sensitive enterprise data at scale Read this section carefully. We are specific about what we need because we are serious about who we hire. • 5+ years of professional Node.js development in production environments — not tutorials, not side projects, not bootcamp exercises. Real production systems serving real users at scale., • Expert-level understanding of asynchronous programming, event loops, streams, and the Node.js runtime. You should be able to explain backpressure, the differences between setImmediate and process.nextTick, and why unhandled promise rejections are dangerous — without Googling it., • Deep experience with TypeScript in production codebases. We write typed code, and we expect you to understand why., • Strong command of RESTful API design, authentication patterns (OAuth 2.0, JWT), and API security best practices for enterprise environments., • Proven experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, query optimization, data modeling, and understanding the performance implications of schema decisions at scale., • Proficiency with Git workflows, code review practices, automated testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end), and CI/CD pipelines., • Solid understanding of containerization (Docker), cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure), and infrastructure-as-code principles., • Salesforce development experience: Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, or Salesforce API integrations. If you know both Node.js and Salesforce, you are a rare and extremely valuable candidate to us., • Experience building or contributing to Salesforce ISV (AppExchange) products., • Vue.js front-end development experience, particularly with Vue 3 Composition API and state management., • Experience working in B2B SaaS companies serving enterprise customers with strict compliance requirements (SOC 2, HIPAA, FedRAMP, GDPR)., • Familiarity with DevOps/DevSecOps toolchains and practices in the Salesforce ecosystem. Skills get you in the door. Mindset determines whether you thrive here: Missionary, Not Mercenary You care about what you’re building and why. You take ownership not because someone assigned it to you, but because that’s who you are. When something is broken at 2 AM, you don’t check whether it’s “your responsibility” — you fix it. Builder, Not a Bystander You don’t wait for perfect specifications. You dig in, ask hard questions, propose solutions, and ship. You would rather have a working prototype by Friday than a polished slide deck by next quarter. Craftsperson Under Pressure Enterprise customers depend on our uptime and data integrity. You write code that doesn’t just work — it survives. You understand that in regulated industries, your code is your reputation. Direct Communicator You say what you think, respectfully and clearly. If a technical decision is wrong, you speak up — regardless of who made it. We value candor over politeness-at-the-expense-of-quality. This Is a Long-Term Commitment Let us be direct: we are not looking for contractors who jump between projects every few months. We are building a world-class engineering team, and we invest heavily in the people who join us. In return, we expect commitment. This role is designed as a long-term, full-time engagement. You will grow with us. You will own systems end-to-end. You will see the direct impact of your work in how Fortune 500 companies build, protect, and deploy on Salesforce. If you’re looking for a short-term gig while you wait for something else, this isn’t the role. If you want to build something that matters and be part of a team that’s scaling from strong to dominant, keep reading. • Competitive compensation commensurate with your experience and impact, • Direct collaboration with the founding team and engineering leadership — your voice will carry weight from day one, • A profitable, stable company with aggressive growth plans — no funding anxiety, no runway clock, • The opportunity to work on enterprise-grade products used by some of the largest organizations in the world, • Meaningful technical challenges: security, compliance, scale, and reliability at the intersection of Node.js and Salesforce, • A culture that rewards ownership, speed, and craftsmanship over politics and hierarchy, • Remote-first flexibility with a results-oriented work environment

Location Our Full Stack Software Engineer will be an integral part of our R&D team. This role is based remotely as a full-time employee in the UK, Ireland, Estonia, the Netherlands, Sweden and Israel. We are also open to contractors in Eastern Europe and Portugal. Who We Are DoiT is a global technology company that works with cloud-driven organizations to leverage the cloud to drive business growth and innovation. We combine data, technology, and human expertise to ensure our customers operate in a well-architected and scalable state - from planning to production. Delivering DoiT Cloud Intelligence, the only solution that integrates advanced technology with human intelligence, we help our customers solve complex multicloud problems and drive efficiency. With decades of multicloud experience, we have specializations in Kubernetes, GenAI, CloudOps, and more. An award-winning strategic partner of AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure, we work alongside more than 4,000 customers worldwide. The Opportunity Cloud spend is no longer just AWS, Google Cloud and Azure. Our customers now run a large and growing share of their technology spend through SaaS platforms, data clouds and AI vendors - and every one of those vendors is an integration that brings another slice of their spend into view. You'll own DoiT's Integrations Framework and the experience built on top of it. This is a chance to define what a great integration experience looks like: a customer connects a new vendor in minutes, sees at a glance that their data is flowing, and handles credential rotation, reconnects and backfills themselves without thinking twice. On the framework side, you'll make adding the next vendor a small, well-understood piece of work rather than a project - so coverage grows as fast as the vendor landscape does. You'll work AI-augmented from day one. Integration development is spec-driven work against constantly changing third-party APIs: one of the highest-leverage places to apply agentic AI tooling. We expect you to use it across your whole workflow and to have real opinions about where it earns its place. • Building new integrations. This is the core of the role. Design and ship integrations against third-party billing and usage APIs - authentication, incremental sync, rate limits, error handling, schema drift - and invest in the Integrations Framework itself, along with testing harnesses and scaffolding, so the tenth integration takes a fraction of the effort of the first., • Working AI-augmented. Use AI daily across the full span of your work - exploring unfamiliar codebases and third-party APIs, prototyping approaches, generating and reviewing code, debugging, writing tests, and producing documentation. Push on what agentic tooling can do for this codebase, and bring judgement about where AI raises velocity and where a human still has to hold the quality bar., • Integration management experience. Build the interfaces customers use to connect, configure and trust their integrations: health and status visibility, actionable error states, credential and key rotation, and clear feedback when something needs attention., • Self-service by default. Design self-service into the framework from the start - backfills, reconnects and diagnostics that customers and internal teams run themselves., • API-first. Build capabilities so they're fully available through APIs, not just the UI. Both humans and agents should be able to drive the platform., • Implementing features end-to-end. From proposal, through spec and implementation, to maintenance. You're expected to propose things you think would be a good addition, not wait for a spec., • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, shipping and owning features in production, • Strong TypeScript, including modern frontend work - React preferred, • Hands-on experience with Go, or strong backend experience in another language (Python, Java, Node.js, C#) with genuine enthusiasm for ramping up in Go quickly, • Real experience designing and consuming REST APIs, and integrating third-party APIs with all the mess that entails: auth flows, pagination, rate limits, partial failures, breaking changes, • Comfortable across the stack. You may lean backend or lean frontend, but you can own a feature from the database through to the interface, • Working proficiency in SQL, • Experience developing solutions in the cloud and/or using cloud services (GCP, AWS or Azure), • A user-facing instinct for operational tooling - you care whether the error message actually tells someone what to do next, • AI-augmented working style - you already use AI tools across your engineering workflow and can talk concretely about what you've got out of them, • Strong knowledge of software engineering practices, design patterns and architectural principles, • Demonstrated passion for creating high-quality web/SaaS apps, • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, • Self-organized, goal-oriented and self-motivated; confident, thorough and tenacious, • Experience building integration platforms or extensibility frameworks as a core part of a product, • Experience with cloud or SaaS billing data - AWS/GCP/Azure cost and usage exports, AI vendor billing data, marketplace billing, or the FOCUS specification, • Experience with Google BigQuery, or with data pipelines and orchestration tooling (Dagster, Airflow), • Experience building AI-powered product features (LLM integration, intelligent automation), • Exposure to FinOps practices or cloud financial management products, • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience Are you a Do'er? We help companies get compensation right. What we get paid at work has a massive impact on our lives, and it’s one of the biggest factors in hiring and retaining talent - and yet so many companies struggle to get it right. They simply have no choice but to rely on poor data and unsophisticated tools for their pay decisions. That’s why we created Ravio. We help many of the world’s most innovative and ambitious companies build stronger teams and reach their goals through better compensation. Our real-time data platform brings compensation into the modern age, tracking the market across all compensation types from salary to equity and benefits. Ravio is growing fast, which means you can too. We’ve established ourselves as the European leader in our space serving more than 1,200 clients, and now have our sights set on becoming the global go to place for compensation data and tools for managing compensation. Joining a startup and scaling it into a global product is one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences a career can offer. If that sounds exciting to you, you’re in the right place. The role We’re looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our engineering team and play a major role in our technical leadership during a significant platform shift. Ravio is moving from a traditional SaaS posture to a platform built around agents - parent agents fronting our compensation data, specialist agents underneath, durable workflows, an MCP-based tool layer, and an eval harness to maintain consistency. You’ll own architecture and technical design across the stack: the customer-facing web app, the agentic platform, and the shared infrastructure connecting them. You’ll bring system design depth - the kind that holds up under load, failure, and coordination across services and teams. You’ll continue to raise the bar on code quality, reliability, and the technical decisions that shape what we ship. This is a hands-on individual contributor role - leading technical decision-making and tackling the hardest problems we encounter. There are also upcoming opportunities to move into management as our company continues to grow, if you wish. Requirements 8+ years commercial engineering experience, with a track record of technical leadership during platform shifts - owning architecture, driving decisions, raising the bar through code review and design review, especially where LLM assisted engineering has become the standard System design depth as your headline strength. Concrete: durability and consistency under failure, multi-service orchestration, data platforms, performance and cost at scale, observability and ops fluency Senior-level fluency in TypeScript and Node, comfortable across the backend (PostgreSQL, GraphQL or HTTP APIs, GCP-shaped infra) Comfortable owning code in a distributed monorepo with multiple deployable services Ships fast under product pressure - we’re moving from PMF to scale and the role needs that pace Nice to have Production experience with agentic systems - tool calling, multi-step orchestration, LLM evals. Workflow engines (Temporal, Cadence, Step Functions) - even if not Temporal specifically MCP, Anthropic SDK, or other LLM platform work Building developer platforms, internal SDKs, or framework-shaped surfaces Eval-driven development, prompt engineering at scale, LLM-judge harnesses React or another modern frontend framework Our tech stack Frontend React Typescript GraphQL (Apollo Client) Playwright Jest Storybook + Chromatic Mantine GCP (Cloud Run) Backend Typescript PostgreSQL GraphQL Yoga Jest Auth0 GCP (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage + more) AI / agentic platform Opus/GPT/Gemini/and many more model families Vertex/Bedrock/Foundry - Cloud deployed models Temporal - durable workflow engine MCP servers as the tool layer AI gateway (Bifrost) for logging, routing, governance Eval harness (Phoenix) - golden queries, LLM-as-judge Memory layer (Neo4j) All the other good stuff GitHub Actions Datadog Figma Slack Linear The opportunity at Ravio right now From your perspective, there are three critical things to look for when evaluating this role: a company going places, a strong engineering culture, and a role that gives you a true opportunity to have impact as a technical leader. Ultimately it’s for you to decide whether that’s true in our two-way street interview process. Here’s a summary of where we are right now and what you can expect as a starting point. There’s a lot happening at Ravio right now. We’ve just raised our Series A led by tier 1 US investors Spark Capital, and have acquired the benchmarking business of our competitor - Compete. We’ve got new joiners starting almost every week, and we’re rapidly expanding outside of our core markets in Europe. We need you to help us maintain our velocity and continue to build a scalable org and product. Our core benchmarking product is at product-market fit, and we have a couple of new modules in the 0-1 phase. This means we’re at an exciting stage that involves 0-to-1 building in some areas, and building for scale in others. That’s true across the business, we’re continuing to expand and experiment, while systemising and doubling down on what is already working well from our seed phase. Beyond the core product, we’re building Ravio’s agentic platform - parent agents fronting our compensation data with specialist agents underneath, durable workflows on Temporal, an MCP-based tool layer, and an eval harness to maintain consistency. It’s a platform engineering effort with the same care and rigour we apply to the rest of the product. A Staff engineer joining now would help shape the foundations of how Ravio’s product is built for the next phase. We’d like to think Ravio is a great place to be a Staff engineer - we have technical leaders who know first hand the importance of creating space and focus for engineering teams to do their best work. And you’ll be working alongside many accomplished and world class teammates, who are energised by the work they do and have a high bar for themselves and their colleagues. Why join Ravio? Shape an agentic platform from its early stages, with senior engineering peers and a high autonomy bar. Opportunity for fast-tracked professional growth at a scaleup backed by world-class investors alongside a smart, energetic team. Blend of IC work and leadership, giving you both hands-on impact and career growth. Remote-friendly, flexible work culture with a high degree of ownership. While we’re very focused, we also know how to have fun in the process. Build a meaningful product that helps people get paid fairly and competitively in their careers. £110,000 - £170,000 Company ownership (everyone gets a meaningful equity stake in Ravio) 37 days paid time off (25 days holiday + 4 wellness days + 8 public holidays) Up to 6% pension matching scheme £60 a month wellness allowance (Invest in your physical wellbeing, on us) £500 per year Learning and Development budget Private healthcare cover (on a medical history disregarded basis) with AXA Personal worldwide travel insurance - just in case Income protection insurance (for full peace of mind in case you cannot work because of sickness or disability) 16 weeks fully paid birthing parent leave, followed by 4 weeks at 50% pay. For non-birthing parents, we offer 8 weeks fully paid leave. For more information about what we collect and how we use it when you apply for a role with us, please refer to our_ #LI-Hybrid #LI-JC1
