Our Engineer Relationship department plays a key role within the business, creating the bridge between our activities and inspiring volunteer Engineering Professionals from the partners we work with. Our vision as a not-for-profit organisation is to embed engineering into the fabric of every school, ensuring all children have the opportunity to engage with engineering from a young age. The Role: • Lead on relationship management of engineer volunteers including onboarding, materials to support involvement and regular communications., • Support contract delivery including partner relationships, working with other departments in fulfilment and be pro-active whilst meeting company goals., • Lead on developing our value proposition, working with internal departments to support, involving engineer volunteers and engagement across all opportunities, including materials, • Operate as a point of contact for partners, industry connections and volunteers., • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with external partners and supporters., • Communicate effectively internally and externally with a range of stakeholders to enable accurate onboarding/involvement of engineering volunteers., • Work pro-actively to identify areas of low involvement and execute strategies to improve this., • Lead workshops with engineer volunteers and partners to support their involvement., • Maintain new and existing engineer volunteer relationships and retention to support business growth needs., • Support and develop internal and external reporting on engineer volunteer engagement., • Attend events nationally to promote engineer engagement and cross-departmental needs within the company. What You’ll Get: • Salary £30,000 per annum, • Full-time role at 37.5 hours per week (8:30am - 4:30pm, Mon-Fri), discretionary hybrid working options currently., • 30 minutes lunch break each day, • 29 days holiday per year, including bank holidays, • ·Increasing holiday allowance throughout service, • Working with some of the world’s largest blue-chip companies as part of their social value outreach, engaging with inspirational people and companies, • Opportunity to travel nationally with the Company, • Health Cash Plan, • Employee Assistance Programme; access to confidential support, including Mental Health and Wellbeing support, legal advice, financial advice, etc., • Cycle-to-Work scheme, • Life insurance at 3 times your salary, • Early finish on the last Friday of the month, • Casual dress, • Professional development opportunities We're looking for: • A confident, self-motivated individual, capable of identifying and removing barriers., • At least 2 years’+ experience in a customer-focused role, • Excellent relationship-management skills with the ability to listen and communicate credibly and effectively both verbally and in writing, • Excellent organisational skills supporting multiple contracts at the same time, • Experience in project management would be beneficial, • Confidence in communicating with stakeholders from the outset, • Setting and working to effective objectives and timescales, • Good digital skills with Microsoft 365, Excel and Outlook and experience of using a CRM system You do not have to meet 100% of the requirements to apply – we're looking for individuals who share our passion about the aims and aspirations we have and wanting to make a positive impact on the future careers of young people.
