Senior Landscape Architect\n\nA leading multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking a talented Senior Landscape Architect with strong Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA) experience to join its growing team. Working within a collaborative team of landscape architects, planners, environmental specialists, and engineers, you will play a key role in shaping projects from initial concept through to delivery.\n\nThe successful candidate will have proven experience leading and preparing LVIAs, alongside a strong understanding of landscape planning and assessment. In return, you'll gain exposure to nationally significant projects, flexible hybrid working arrangements, and excellent opportunities for career progression within a highly respected consultancy.\n\n The Opportunity\n\nYou will play a leading role in delivering landscape planning and assessment services across a broad range of sectors including renewable energy, transport infrastructure, strategic development, green infrastructure, urban regeneration, and environmental enhancement projects.\n\nWorking within multidisciplinary teams, you will be responsible for producing robust landscape assessments, developing creative design solutions, and supporting clients in creating sustainable and resilient environments.\n\nProjects range from large-scale infrastructure and renewable energy developments through to public realm improvements, town centre regeneration, green infrastructure strategies, and environmental enhancement schemes. You will have the opportunity to contribute at every stage of the project lifecycle, from feasibility and planning through to detailed design and implementation.\n\n Key Responsibilities\n\nLead the production and review of Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIAs).\nCoordinate landscape architecture inputs across a variety of projects.\nUndertake landscape character assessments, visual appraisals, and site surveys.\nCarry out desk-based research, data collection, analysis, and interpretation.\nPrepare high-quality technical reports, visualisations, presentations, and supporting documentation.\nContribute to landscape strategy, masterplanning, concept design, detailed design, and landscape management plans.\nManage client relationships and participate in stakeholder engagement activities.\nLead and contribute to project meetings, workshops, and consultation events.\nEnsure the delivery of high-quality, technically accurate work.\nMentor and support junior team members.\nAssist with fee proposals, tender submissions, and business development activities.\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative and sustainable project solutions.\nUtilise digital tools and technologies to improve project delivery and efficiency. Essential Requirements\n\nMaster's degree or postgraduate qualification in Landscape Architecture from an accredited programme.\nChartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI).\nProven experience leading and preparing Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIAs).\nStrong understanding of GLVIA guidance and landscape planning best practice.\nExperience delivering landscape planning and assessment work across a range of project sectors.\nExcellent report-writing and analytical skills.\nAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.\nExperience working within multidisciplinary project teams.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nNumerically competent with excellent attention to detail.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, GIS software, Adobe Creative Suite, and relevant CAD/BIM platforms.
