TPF Recruitment, the Sussex accountancy practice specialist recruitment agency, is working with a well established accountancy firm to recruit an Assistant Manager into its Financial Reporting Team. The role can be based in either Chichester or Horsham.This is a technically focused position supporting Audit teams through the preparation and review of high quality accounts. As the Financial Reporting offering expands externally, there will be increasing exposure to large and complex assignments and collaboration with external auditors.Key responsibilitiesManage a portfolio of financial reporting work for auditPrepare and review complex statutory accounts, including consolidationsSupervise and support junior team members, providing feedback and trainingAct as a key contact for Audit teams to ensure quality and timely deliveryContribute to process improvements and future go to market activityRequirementsRequirementsStrong technical knowledge of financial reporting and accounts preparationExperience with IFRS, FRS 101, FRS 102 and group consolidationsPrevious experience reviewing accounts and identifying technical issuesConfident supervising and developing junior staffExperience using Caseware for accounts productionIdeally ACA or ACCA qualified.
