Ensure the workshop entrance remains clear for vehicle movements. Keep access roads and customer parking areas clear and accessible. Manage customer vehicle drop-offs and collections efficiently. Reorganise parked vehicles to maximise yard capacity and operational efficiency. Liaise closely with workshop staff regarding vehicle movements and priorities. Carry out general yard maintenance and housekeeping duties. Assist with loading, unloading, and vehicle positioning when required. Adhere to all company health and safety procedures. HGV Driver / Yard Maintenance -Requirements Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV Licence. Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence preferred. Previous experience driving and manoeuvring commercial vehicles. Experience working within a busy transport, workshop, or yard environment. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively. Good understanding of vehicle safety procedures and yard operations. Physically fit, with the ability to undertake manual handling duties, including lifting up to 40kg as part of a two-person operation. Excellent communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach. Good knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards.
