FM Conway is looking for a Traffic Management Operative to join our Traffic Managment division based from our Heathrow depot. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis, working a mixture of day and night shifts. As our Traffic Management Operative, you will work as part of a team to carry out a range of services including setting up temporary traffic lights, installing, maintaining and removing traffic management. Opportunities for over time and night work will also be regularly available at an industry leading rate. \n\n The duties of the Traffic Management Operative role will include: \n\n -Setting up temporary traffic lights as required \n\n -Assisting with the diversion of traffic \n\n -Maintaining and removing the traffic lights within the required time scale \n\n -Managing the traffic flow at the temporary traffic lights, ensuring public are abiding by lights \n\n -Working closely with management and crews and taking instructions from the management team \n\n -Ensuring that sites are safe and carrying out on site assessments \n\n -Taking appropriate action in the event of an emergency, particularly ensuring the appropriate people are notified \n\n

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in generating vital income that directly supports vulnerable young people in crisis. You will lead on building strong relationships within Off The Record Twickenham’s local community, developing partnerships with businesses, community groups, and individual supporters. This role offers autonomy to grow and manage your own portfolio while being supported by an experienced and hands on team. As this role involves engaging local community groups, businesses and volunteers in our mission to support local young people, it is particularly suited to someone who lives and/or has worked in the London borough of Richmond. Key Responsibilities • Develop and manage successful fundraising relationships with local businesses and community groups • Build and nurture a network of local philanthropists and individual donors, • Plan and deliver fundraising activities at local fairs, events, and community initiatives, • Recruit, motivate, and manage volunteers to support fundraising activities, • Identify new opportunities for community fundraising and income generation, • Deliver high-quality stewardship to supporters, maintaining regular contact through updates, thank you letters, and calls • Work closely with the Business Manager to support an established grant fundraising portfolio, assisting with bid-writing and deputising when the Business Manager is away • Maintain accurate and detailed records of donor engagement and fundraising activity, whilst meeting GDPR requirements • Ensure all fundraising activity complies with the Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Practice (we are registered with the Fundraising Regulator) • Represent the charity positively within the local community About You We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised, and confident in building relationships. Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Resident Liaison Officer to serve as a vital link between our client and the surrounding community and businesses. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to analyse data effectively.
