This is a full-time role spanning both our festival operations — which peak during the summer months and may take you to some of the most scenic parts of the UK — and our year-round event and corporate catering services across Greater London. U9 London is a vibrant, fast-paced bar known for its energetic atmosphere, quality drinks, and exceptional customer experience. We are looking for an experienced and driven Bar Manager to lead our team and take our venue to the next level. Key Responsibilities: • Lead, train, and motivate a team of bartenders and floor staff, • Manage staff rotas, shifts, and performance, • Deliver outstanding customer service and handle guest feedback, • Oversee daily bar operations, including opening and closing procedures, • Manage stock levels, ordering, and inventory control, • Monitor costs, menu development, reduce wastage, and maximise profitability, • Ensure compliance with UK licensing laws and health & safety standards, • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation, • Plan and execute promotions, events, and themed nights, • Work closely with senior management on business growth and strategy development Requirements: • Proven experience as a Bar Manager or Assistant Bar Manager, • Strong leadership and team management skills, • Excellent knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and bar operations, • Solid understanding of stock control and financial management, • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, • Personal Licence holder (preferred), • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends What We Offer: • Competitive salary £35k - £40k per annum + tronc/ performance-based bonuses, • Opportunity to lead a dynamic and growing venue, • Staff discounts, staff meal on shift and incentives, • Career progression within the company, • Supportive and energetic team environment If you’re passionate about hospitality and ready to lead a thriving bar in London, we’d love to hear from you.
