As a Chemistry Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our manufacturing process through the execution of various analytical tests. Your expertise will ensure the accurate and efficient testing of raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods, adhering to stringent regulatory and quality standards. • Operate and maintain analytical instruments including HPLC, ICP-MS, and Karl Fischer titrators, • Conduct spectroscopy and chromatography procedures, • Perform wet chemistry techniques (e.g., titration, pH measurement, distillation), • Carry out full metal screenings, nutrient and vitamin testing, • Analyse, interpret, and report test results with accuracy and scientific rigour, • Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment; support preventative maintenance, • Develop and follow SOPs, method protocols, and ensure adherence to GMP/GLP, • Apply knowledge of ISO 17025, Chemistry ISO standards, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA), • Support and participate in internal audits and external regulatory inspections, • Engage in method validation/verification and associated documentation, • Prepare and handle samples across various stages: raw materials, intermediates, stability, and final product, • Ensure correct handling, storage, and labelling of samples in line with protocols, • Conduct instrument calibration and qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), • BSc or higher in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering, • Experience in the nutritional, pharmaceutical, or food science industry, • Previous involvement in ISO audits or regulatory body inspections, • 2–5 years' experience in an analytical chemistry laboratory, • Strong understanding of analytical techniques and regulatory standards, • Demonstrated experience with method validation and regulated testing environments, • 33 days holiday (incl. xrnqpay bank holidays), pro rata to start date and FTE., • Pension Scheme by Aegon, the Employer will match contributions up to a maximum of 5%, • Free health cash plan, • Life Assurance at 2 x basic salary, • EAP Programme, • Enhanced Maternity leave policy, • Canteen, • Casual dress, • Company events, • Company pension, • Free parking, • Health & wellbeing programme, • On-site parking
