Relationship Support Officer\n\n📍 Harrow, London\n 💰 £30,000 - £35,000\n 🕒 Permanent | Full-Time\n 🏢 Office-Based - 5 Days Per Week\n\nWe are currently seeking a Relationship Support Officer to join a well-established international banking organisation within their Branch Banking team in Harrow.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an individual with banking experience who is looking to develop their career within Corporate, Commercial, and SME Banking. The successful candidate will support Relationship Managers with portfolio management, client servicing, credit proposal processing, and ongoing account administration.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nSupport Relationship Managers with the day-to-day management of client portfolios\nPrepare and process credit proposals, including balance sheet, cash flow, and income statement analysis\nReview documentation, account activity, payment history, and facility information\nMaintain strong relationships with existing customers and respond promptly to client queries\nMonitor account performance, credit movements, overdue documents, and payments\nSupport renewals of limits, insurance policies, stock reports, and facility documentation\nLiaise with internal departments including Operations and Credit to ensure efficient customer servicing\nAttend client meetings alongside Relationship Managers where required and prepare call reports\nEnsure accurate record keeping and adherence to internal processes and regulatory standards\n\nRequirements\n\nMinimum 2 years' banking experience\nUniversity degree or equivalent qualification\nUnderstanding of banking products and financial instruments\nStrong financial analysis and credit writing skills\nWorking knowledge of legal documentation, valuation reports, and insurance documents\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nStrong attention to detail and organisational skills\nComputer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office and database systems\nTeam player with a proactive and professional approach\nPreferably bilingual in English and Urdu and/or Punjabi\n\nKey Attributes\n\nCollaborative and team-oriented\nResilient and adaptable\nProfessional and motivated\nDetail-oriented with strong organisational skills\nCustomer-focused with excellent relationship-building abilityThis role would suit someone currently working within branch banking, relationship support, SME banking, or corporate banking administration who is looking to further develop their exposure within a client-focused banking environment
