SERVICE DESCRIPTION: Senior System Business Analyst Description of Services The Engineering Solutions Unit supports project delivery and reporting through consultation, development, testing, and implementation of system applications and workflows. The group maintains and supports engineering platforms and serves as a liaison between business units and IT. CMCOM is seeking a Senior System Business Analyst to provide on-site consulting services supporting this client’s engineering technology initiatives. Consultant Services Services to be performed by the candidate may include, but are not limited to: • Gather intelligence from subject matter experts about needs and future improvements., • Elicit, document, and analyze requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and documentation reviews., • Assess current software development processes, identify bottlenecks, and recommend process optimizations., • Manage change requests and coordinate implementation with stakeholder committees., • Translate business requirements into functional specifications (user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria)., • Support applications and workflows, including full-stack .NET/React solutions and enterprise platforms (e.g., Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Power Platform, OpenText Content Server, eBuilder)., • Develop, enhance, and maintain Power BI dashboards and SSRS reports., • Perform SQL Server querying, profiling, and ETL processes (SSIS)., • Define QA/testing strategies, develop automation scripts (Python, PowerShell, or C#), conduct testing, and ensure compliance reviews., • Prepare user guides, training materials, and deliver in-person/online training. Required • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college., • 3+ years of demonstrated Business Analysis in full-stack web application development., • 2+ years of Business Analysis in enterprise platform applications., • 2+ years SQL Server database querying and profiling., • 1+ year each in: SSIS, SSRS, Power BI, workflow design (Miro/Visio), Azure DevOps, API testing/automation (Postman, Playwright, Pytest)., • Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or C#., • Familiarity with SDLC methodologies, programming logic, data flows, and system integrations., • Strong analysis and documentation skills., • Excellent communication (oral and written)., • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines., • UI/UX design (Figma or similar)., • Enterprise Content Management (OpenText, SharePoint)., • Azure File Share administration., • Experience with eBuilder and DocuSign., • Experience supporting construction industry project/document management systems.
