Essential Functions: • Performs sterilization procedures following protocols set in accordance with established guidelines, • Prepares dental equipment and instrumentation - tray set-ups for dental procedures, • Obtains diagnostic records ordered by a dentist including X-Rays, intra-oral scans/photos, and alginate impressions, • Provides direct patient care under the direct supervision of a dentist, • Creates entries in patients' medical records as directed by the treating dentist, • Provides patient education including care instructions, • Performs basic lab duties including the fabrication of Essix retainers, • Prepares and documents lab cases ensuring timely delivery Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent., • Minimum of 6 months of experience in a dental or healthcare setting., • Knowledge and understanding of dental terminology, techniques, and procedures., • Compliance with continuing education requirements to maintain state license/certification (if applicable)., • Proficiency in dental software and technology., • Strong communication and interpersonal skills., • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development., • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
