CRM Benefits: • 11 paid holidays (includes 1 floating holiday and the day after Thanksgiving!), • Excellent insurance options/benefits that are 75% employer paid!, • 100% up to 5% 401k match, • Competitive Salary, • Annual reviews with performance-based bonuses, • Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and recurring entries, for affordable housing properties., • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes for multiple properties and legal entities., • Reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank accounts, reserves, security deposits, restricted cash, and other balance sheet accounts., • Prepare and review monthly property financial statements and perform variance analyses., • Support LIHTC, HUD, RD, and other regulatory reporting and compliance requirements., • Assist with annual audits, cost certifications, and compliance reviews., • Track, reconcile, and monitor replacement reserves and restricted cash accounts., • Collaborate with property management teams on financial and operational matters., • Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and affordable housing program requirements., • Identify and recommend improvements to accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiencies., • Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff as needed.Minimum Qualifications, • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field., • 3-5 years of accounting experience, with a minimum of 2 years in affordable housing or property management accounting., • Working knowledge of LIHTC and/or HUD programs., • Strong understanding of GAAP and property-level accounting., • Experience with property management accounting software (e.g., RealPage, Yardi, MRI, or similar systems)., • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and account reconciliations., • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills., • Ability to manage multiple deadlines across a diverse property portfolio.Preferred Qualifications, • Experience with cost certifications and compliance audits., • CPA or CPA candidate preferred., • Experience with partnership accounting and fund accounting. Must be able to pass a 5-year background check. We also conduct pre-employment drug testing. Any job offer will be based on the results of background and drug testing.
