Essential Generic Job Functions (List in order of importance): -Performs complex CT procedures. -Uses professional judgment when reviewing and obtaining patient’s clinical history for procedures, ensuring information is documented and scanned into PACS. -Prepares, screens and reviews the accuracy of the contrast questionnaire with patient and/or family member and scan into EPIC. -Identifies and/or administers contrast media related to CT exams as prescribed by a licensed practitioner. -Reviews the patient prescription to verify appropriateness of exam and if incorrect, communicates with the Radiologist and Referring Physician to obtain additional clinical information or a new prescription. -Responsible for calling physicians to clarify the prescription in accordance with the appropriate CT protocols. -Responsible for verifying insurance authorized exam script and send exam modification forms to Finance for insurance re-verification. -Responsible for obtaining outside studies (CD) then scheduling them in EPIC so the CD and reports are available in PACS in order to be compared by Radiologists. -Responsible for providing exam copies to the patient and requesting physician and/or family member. -Evaluates radiographs using PACS System to ensure that radiographs contain proper identification and are of diagnostic value. -Uses consistent and appropriate techniques to gather relevant information from the medical record, significant others and health care providers to prepare protocols for scanning and patient safety. -The collection of information is determined by the patient’s needs or condition. -Determines whether the patient has been appropriately prepared for the procedure. -Preps patient for scanning: (i.e. shielding, immobilization devices). -Determines appropriate type and dose of contrast to be administered. -Provides accurate explanations and instructions at any appropriate time and at a level the patient can understand. About the Role In order to achieve its ambition of serving 80,000-100,000 Fellows over the next decade, Braven is hiring an Associate, Recruitment - New Jersey who will be responsible for recruiting and enrolling Fellows (students) into the Braven Accelerator course at the Higher Education Partnership per semester to meet annual goals. To achieve these results, you will recruit and manage a part-time student recruitment intern and Braven Student Ambassadors. You will work closely with Central and Regional recruitment teams, as well as the Rutgers-Newark team to help you reach your goals. In all of this, you will contribute to building and maintaining a positive presence of Braven at the Higher Education Partnership (HEP). This role is on the New Jersey Regional Team team and reports directly to the Senior Director, New Jersey. What You’ll Do Student Recruitment and Enrollment (50%) • Develop vision, strategy, and plans to effectively enroll and reach annual student recruitment goals each semester into the Braven course, • Use Salesforce and Google Suites to manage recruitment data, operations, and pipelines, • Analyze recruitment data weekly to inform recruiting strategy, • Organize and support recruitment presentations and materials, • Host recruitment events in order to source prospective students, • Recruit and manage a team of student interns and volunteers, • Share design input and feedback with Braven’s External Affairs team on marketing materials, • Collect and share compelling stories with the Communications Team and External Affairs Team, • Support the Social Media and Marketing Committee, • Support the cultivation and management of key stakeholders such as university staff and alumni, as well as employer and community partners, • Assess strategies employed and make informed improvements based on the gathering of quantitative, qualitative, and anecdotal data to present to key stakeholders., • Participate in individual annual and quarterly planning and all-team events, • Recruit, hire, onboard, and manage part-time student interns, • Recruit and train student volunteers known as Braven Ambassadors, • Education: Bachelor’s Degree, • At least 1 year of experience in the non-profit field, • Proficiency in Google Suite, Slack, Salesforce, Jira, Canva, • Ability to quickly build positive working relationships and identify strategically important relationships, • Excellent communication, facilitation and public speaking skills, • Experience coaching and mentoring students in career development, • Experience managing and developing people, particularly managing through others, • Proven ability to create, operationalize, and manage project plans, meeting milestones and deadlines, • Track record of using data and metrics to drive decisions and measure performance, • High degree of flexibility and adaptability, excels in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is comfortable with ambiguity, • Familiarity with social media marketing techniques for college students., • Exemplification of Braven’s core values, • Experiences that have informed your belief in Braven’s mission and prepared you to work with, or for, Braven’s student Fellow population Please know that no one ever meets 100% of the preferred qualifications. Work Demands • Ability to work in-person in Newark, NJ at least 3 days per week (Tues, Wed, Thurs), • Work on HEP’s campus additional days outside of the required 3 days in office during peak recruitment seasons, in-person class, and other key recruitment events., • Travel to 3-5 events per semester in the surrounding Newark Area., • Ability to attend 3-5 events during the weekend per semester., • Authorized to work in the U.S. While the interview process may vary slightly, the general process will be: • Phone screen with Talent Team member, • Performance Task, • Interview with Hiring Manager, • Panel Interview with Key Partners Compensation and Benefits Braven offers competitive base salaries based on the midpoint of the market among not-for-profit organizations of similar size, with opportunities for salary growth over time. Given our commitment to equity, Braven does not negotiate salary offers; instead, each salary offer is determined carefully using external and internal benchmarking. New hires can expect a starting salary at the lower end of the range, as Braven compensates based on the requirements and scope of the role rather than years of experience or prior salary, allowing for growth with performance and maintaining internal equity. The salary ranges, by geographic market, for this role are set forth $69,000-$86,200. This is a full-time, regular, exempt, and benefits eligible position where you will be working at 100% capacity.
