Resident Care Director (RN) - Assisted Living About The Opportunity A beautiful, mansion-style Assisted Living & Memory Care community located in the Bergen County, New Jersey area is currently hiring a RN Resident Care Director to oversee all health and wellness operations. This is a well respected community with a strong overall performance and a long-tenured leadership team —making an experienced Assisted Living RN leader especially critical at this time. Resident Care Director (RN) If you are an Registered Nurse Leader with a solid Assisted Living background or Long-Term Care experience and are ready to step into a highly visible Nurse Leadership, Department Head role, this is an excellent opportunity for you! • Assisted Living regulations and resident care compliance, • Assisted Living workflow, assessment processes, service planning, and daily clinical operations, • CPR & First Aid Certification, • Current RCD, Wellness Director, or ADON inAL/Memory Care Why This Role Is Unique • Mansion-style Victorian property, • Opportunity to help select and train your future Wellness Nurse, • Long-tenured Executive Director and regional leadership, • 60% administrative, 40% hands-on clinical and resident interaction, • Excellent opportunity for an emerging leader (Manager or Strong Supervisor) to step into full department leadership and build operational oversight experience Key Responsibilities Leadership & Clinical Oversight (60%) • Lead clinical operations, assessments, care planning, and regulatory compliance, • Supervise and mentor the Wellness Nurse + 8 – 10 clinical team members (RNs & Med Techs), • Manage staffing, scheduling, training, onboarding, and performance coaching, • Conduct ongoing quality assurance and clinical improvement initiatives, • Must be a leader who is highly visible and approachable to residents and families, • Conduct assessments, ISP creation, and monitor changes in condition, • Round with physicians weekly, • Coordinate with hospice, therapy, pharmacy, and other vendors Qualifications • RN – New Jersey license (required), • 2+ years RN experience in Assisted Living, LTC, or Memory Care, • 1+ year of leadership/management experience(Supervisor, Manager, ADON, Wellness Nurse, etc.), • Strong understanding of Assisted Living regulations and resident care compliance, • CPR & First Aid certification, • Competitive Salary - Up to $130K base salary, • 12%–15% Annual Bonus, • Excellent benefits packaging including medical, dental, vision coverage, • 401k retirement savings plan + company match, • Flexibility to negotiate additional PTO if needed, • Supportive, long-standing leadership team and stable community, • #ghrsearch25
