Job Responsibilities • Conduct site visits and available information research for new opportunities, • Perform pre and post-condition surveys of buildings and structures;, • Developing forces calculations due to lateral retaining systems, support of excavation and underpinning systems, deep foundations, waterfront structures., • Assist in designing temporary support structures and deep foundations (driven and drilled piles) in accordance with local building codes and applicable standards., • Assist in performing inspections for new foundation construction, including but not limited to deep and shallow foundations, subgrade preparation, support of excavation structures, underpinning systems, and pile load tests., • Prepare daily logs and communicate investigation or construction progress with the office., • Assist in preparing inspection logs and reports for construction approval and Code compliance., • Travel locally by public transportation, or with vehicle for equipment transport. Base Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000. Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, market conditions, education/training, certifications and credentials. This position is eligible for straight-time overtime and participation in the firm's annual bonus and performance review program. Bonuses are discretionary and based on individual job performance and the profitability of the firm.
