Job DescriptionManufacturing Engineer Compensation for this role: 85-125k/ year based on experience The Manufacturing Engineer will lead the machining and assembly methodization of new aircraft hydraulic products supporting multiple business unit applications. This role provides technical support and direction to Operations for new business programs and legacy sustaining efforts, while coordinating closely with Design and Quality Engineering. The position also supports productivity, cost, quality, and efficiency objectives across manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities • Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods using knowledge of product design, materials, fabrication processes, tooling, production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards., • Generate manufacturing and assembly documentation, and provide hands-on support to personnel during day-to-day manufacturing, inspection, and testing operations., • Design, develop, and implement manufacturing tools and fixtures to support production requirements., • Analyze engineering design releases and assess impacts to operations, including inventory, work-in-process, and outsourced work; develop and execute appropriate action plans., • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, quality improvement, and manufacturing efficiency., • Resolve method-related issues by collaborating with Design Engineering, Quality Engineering, Planning, Supervisors, and Operations staff., • Develop machining strategies and assist in the creation of CNC milling and turning programs., • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Industrial, Systems, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering., • 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or machining-focused engineering role., • Proficiency with CAD software for the design and drafting of manufacturing tools and fixtures., • Experience with CAM software for generating CNC programs., • Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and production techniques., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)., • ERP system experience preferred., • Must be authorized to work in the United States. This role operates in a manufacturing environment and may involve: • Exposure to high noise levels from operating machinery., • Exposure to fumes, dust, and mists associated with machining operations.
