Competitive salary Excellent benefits package Collaborative, friendly environment Flexible work schedule Generous PTO Job Details Responsibilities: • Manage a diverse portfolio of litigation matters in a variety of industries., • Draft pleadings, motions, and appellate documents and file them with the court., • Perform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics, etc)., • Conduct legal research and draft memoranda., • Engage in discovery process, including drafting discovery requests and responses, and managing document productions., • Attend court appearances, mediations, and arbitration proceedings., • Participate in trial preparation, including drafting trial briefs, motions in limine, and preparing and questioning witnesses., • Work closely with partners and clients to manage cases from inception through trial or other resolution., • Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school., • Must be a member in good standing with the state bar., • A minimum of 2-3 years of commercial litigation experience., • Experience with estate litigation is a plus., • Excellent written and oral communication skills with a keen eye for detail., • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills., • Ability to manage large amounts of files, schedules, and information., • Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor., • Ability to work independently and as part of a team., • Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)., • Ability to handle high-pressure situations with poise and professionalism., • Strong commitment to client service and demonstrated ability to manage and build client relationships., • Proven track record of managing all aspects of commercial litigation matters, from inception through resolution., • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute case strategy, manage discovery, take and defend depositions, draft and argue motions, and engage in trial preparation and trial work., • Ability to work long hours when necessary to meet client needs., • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
