Job DescriptionSenior Staff Accountant (Temp-to-Perm) Montvale, NJ (Onsite) $70,000-$90,000 annually upon permanent hire LHH is partnering with a growing, stable organization in Montvale, NJ seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join their team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys hands-on work, ownership of processes, and the ability to make an impact within a collaborative finance team. Position Overview The Senior Staff Accountant will support the accounting department with general ledger maintenance, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities • Prepare and post journal entries, • Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations, • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, • Support accounts payable and receivable as needed, • Assist with financial statement preparation, • Analyze variances and provide reporting support, • Partner with auditors during audit cycles, • Identify and recommend process improvementsQualifications, • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required, • 3-6+ years of accounting experience, • Strong understanding of GAAP, • Experience with general ledger and month-end close, • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs preferred), • ERP experience preferred, • Strong analytical skills and attention to detailWhy Apply?, • Opportunity to transition into a permanent role, • Competitive permanent salary range of $70K-$90K, • Supportive leadership and team-oriented environment, • Opportunity to grow within the organizationIf you're a motivated accounting professional looking for a stable opportunity with long-term potential, we encourage you to apply.
