Job Description Kids Care Pediatrics is a thriving, community focused pediatric practice seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Physicians Assistant. Under the supervision of a physician, the Nurse Practitioner/Physicians Assistant will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and educating patients while maintaining a focus on prevention and wellness. Our office is known for providing high quality family centered care to children form birth through adulthood. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Patient Care & Assessments: Perform comprehensive physical exams, take detailed patient histories, and develop tailored treatment plans. Order appropriate lab tests, and interpret lab results when necessary. Diagnose and treat minor illnesses, prescribe medications, and consult with supervising physicians for complex cases or referrals., • Patient Education & Counseling: Educate patients on preventive care, lifestyle modifications, and disease management to promote health and wellness. Offer counseling on various health issues, including chronic conditions, medication adherence, and managing mental health., • Documentation & Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment plans in accordance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements. Follow up on abnormal results and ensure proper documentation of patient progress and follow-up care., • Team Collaboration :Attend team meetings and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes., • Clinical Oversight & Safety: Adhere to OSHA infection control standards and CDC guidelines to ensure a safe and healthy environment for both patients and staff.
