Position Summary The Route Supervisor plays a critical leadership role within our operations team. This position oversees drivers and helpers to ensure safe, efficient, and timely route completion across the Central Valley. As the key link between management and field staff, the Route Supervisor ensures compliance with safety standards, optimizes routes, and supports a high-performing team environment. Key Responsibilities * Team Supervision: Lead and support drivers and helpers to ensure daily routes are completed safely and on time. * Safety & Compliance: Enforce company safety policies, conduct regular safety meetings, and ensure adherence to DOT regulations. * Training & Onboarding: Deliver driver training and orientation and perform road tests for new hires. * Route Optimization: Identify and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs. * Performance Management: Approve timecards, participate in performance reviews, and support disciplinary actions and coaching. * Operational Support: Maintain clear communication with drivers throughout the day and provide backup driving support when needed. * Customer Service: Respond to service issues or complaints promptly and professionally. * Project Collaboration: Assist with special initiatives such as community cleanups, parades, and events.
