    🍕 Line Cook / Prep Cook – Macy’s Herald Square Pop-Up (December Only) Location: Macy’s Herald Square, New York, NY Job Type: Temporary (December Seasonal Position) Job Overview We’re looking for a reliable and skilled team member to join our pop-up food operation inside Macy’s Herald Square for the month of December. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment during the holiday season. If you enjoy working in the kitchen, take pride in cleanliness, and can handle multiple tasks, we’d love to meet you. Pizza-making experience is a strong plus. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and support daily kitchen operations Cook and assemble menu items following established recipes and presentation standards Perform food prep tasks including chopping, slicing, portioning, marinating, and organizing ingredients Assist with pizza preparation and cooking (if experienced) Maintain clean, sanitized workstations, equipment, and utensils Operate dishwashing machines and handle general cleaning duties Follow proper food handling, storage, and labeling procedures Support special service needs or catering-style demands within the pop-up Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations Experience Previous restaurant, catering, or food-service experience is preferred Strong kitchen skills, including familiarity with prep work and basic cooking techniques Knife skills and understanding of food safety protocols are highly desirable Pizza-making experience is a big plus Ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment Dietary aide or dietary department experience is helpful but not required What We Offer Seasonal employment at an iconic NYC holiday destination Hands-on kitchen experience with opportunities to build your culinary skills A supportive, team-focused work environment Schedule December availability required Weekends and peak holiday hours may be needed How to Apply Please submit your resume through Indeed. StoryCourse’s newest experience, Diaspora, is a four-course dinner that takes guests through a theatrical exploration of four Jewish chefs’ immigration stories from Ethiopia, Mexico, Iran, and Ukraine to New York City. Each scripted chapter excavates a unique tale of a chef’s diaspora experience, culminating in a signature dish. LOCATION: Midnight Theatricals 245 W 18th New York, NY 10011 JOB DESCRIPTION: Seeking 2 prep cooks (ideally who can speak either Russian or Ukrainian or Spanish) to support our Head Chef in executing 4 dishes seamlessly. You'll be working behind the scenes to prep and help execute 4 culturally distinct dishes as part of this unique theatrical dining event.
