With Vituity, if you ever need to move, you can take your job with you. \n \n The Opportunity \n\n • Oversee quality and safety initiatives. \n • Collaborate with hospital quality personnel to ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards. \n • Develop and implement projects to improve service excellence and patient experience. \n • Compare patient feedback survey results to Vituity state/region averages and national benchmarks. \n • Respond to written and verbal patient complaints in a timely manner utilizing service-recovery techniques. \n • Track and trend patient complaints, including the QI director as necessary in concerning cases. \n • Train and mentor providers in patient experience techniques. \n • Coordinate with hospital-patient experience personnel. \n • Coordinate efforts with key leaders in central operations. Ensure best practices are utilized regarding handoffs for all transitions. \n • Monitor site financial performance and identify and create new areas for growth and revenue. \n • Develop an expertise and understanding of the yearly budget, financial performance measures and monitoring systems, and billing and reimbursement issues / systems. \n • Improve patient census and billing practice statistics to optimize reimbursement for the practice. \n • Maintain awareness and interactions with payers such as significant IPAs, Medical Groups, Foundations, and ACOs associated with the hospital / health system. \n • Coordinate efforts with key leaders in central operations. \n\n \n Required Experiences and Competencies \n\n • Licensed physician as a Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school and completion of residency through an accredited residency program required. \n • Maintain membership and privileges on Hospital’s medical staff and comply with and abide by the bylaws, rules and regulations, and the policies and procedures of Hospital’s medical staff where services are being provided required. \n • Physician Partnership status required. \n • Superior clinical skills to serve as role model by setting high standards preferred. \n • Administrative experience and aptitude preferred. \n • Interest in interpreting complex financial data and with understanding of finance and accounting as they relate to practice management preferred. \n • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; ability to motivate physicians and non-physicians, manage multiple assignments, work successfully with a diversity of people and locations, maintain good working relationships; Supportive team member; Ability to establish effective relationships quickly with both clients and non-clients preferred. \n • Excellent verbal and written communication skills preferred. \n • Excellent relationship building and process improvement skills preferred. \n • Meeting facilitation. \n • Excellent communication skills. \n • Change management/Process improvement. \n • Project management. \n • Process improvement. \n • Relationship building. \n • Technology skills. \n\n \n The Practice \n Westchester Medical Center – Valhalla, New York \n\n • Level I Trauma Center, STEMI Receiving Center, and Comprehensive Stroke Center. \n • 650-bed facility with 43-bed Emergency Department \n • All sub-specialties available for backup. \n • Annual ED volume of 33,000 with approximately 100 patients per day. \n\n \n The Community \n\n • Valhalla, New York, a picturesque hamlet in Westchester County, offers a tranquil lifestyle with proximity to major cities like New York City. \n • Known for its serene atmosphere, it’s home to landmarks such as the Kensico Dam Plaza, a stunning park hosting seasonal events and providing breathtaking views.
