    Harlem Shake is looking for an experienced, dependable, and hands-on Assistant Manager to support daily restaurant operations at our Harlem location. The Assistant Manager works closely with the Store Manager to lead the team, maintain strong operational standards, and provide an excellent guest experience. This is an active floor-management position that requires someone who can coach employees, solve problems, maintain accountability, and step into any area of the restaurant when needed. Responsibilities: • Lead FOH and BOH employees during assigned shifts, • Support the Store Manager with daily restaurant operations, • Assign employee stations, breaks, side work, and cleaning responsibilities, • Conduct preshift meetings and communicate daily priorities, • Make sure employees complete all assigned opening, closing, and operational checklists, • Coach employees and provide clear, respectful feedback, • Address attendance, performance, uniform, and policy concerns, • Document employee coaching and corrective-action issues when required, • Support employee training, cross-training, and development, • Maintain a positive, professional, and accountable workplace, • Provide excellent customer service and resolve guest concerns, • Monitor speed of service, order accuracy, food quality, and presentation, • Make sure FOH employees provide a warm welcome and goodbye to every guest, • Support the kitchen during high-volume periods when needed, • Monitor restaurant cleanliness throughout the shift, • Complete opening and closing procedures, • Handle cash, deposits, drawer counts, refunds, voids, discounts, and manager comps accurately, • Review register activity and investigate cash discrepancies, • Make sure waste, refunds, voids, and complimentary items are recorded correctly, • Monitor labor and make appropriate staffing adjustments based on business volume, • Assist with employee schedules and shift coverage, • Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages, • Assist with receiving, organizing, and rotating deliveries, • Follow FIFO and proper food-storage procedures, • Enforce food-safety, allergen, sanitation, and NYC Department of Health requirements, • Complete required temperature, cleaning, safety, and operational logs, • Make sure equipment issues, incidents, injuries, and guest complaints are properly documented and reported, • Follow and enforce all Harlem Shake policies, recipes, service standards, and operational procedures, • Perform other management and restaurant duties as needed Qualifications: • Previous restaurant supervisory or assistant-management experience is required, • Fast-casual, quick-service, or full-service restaurant experience is preferred, • Valid NYC Food Protection Certificate is required, • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, • Comfortable coaching employees and holding the team accountable, • Able to remain calm and make decisions in a fast-paced environment, • Experience with POS systems, cash handling, deposits, scheduling, inventory, and labor management, • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation requirements, • Dependable, punctual, detail-oriented, and professional, • Able to work independently while following direction from the Store Manager and senior leadership, • Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Physical Requirements: • Able to stand and move throughout the entire shift, • Able to work in dining-room and kitchen environments, • Able to bend, reach, lift, carry, and perform repetitive tasks, • Able to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds, • Able to work around grills, fryers, heat, steam, and other restaurant equipment Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20–$24 per hour Schedule: Eight-hour shifts with evening, weekend, and holiday availability as needed Location: Harlem Shake, 100 W. 124th Street, New York, NY 10027 Benefits may include a flexible schedule, paid vacation, and 401(k) eligibility.

    About the Role The Head Maître d’ owns NORTE’s reservation book and leads the guest experience from the first request for a table through the end of the visit. This role combines commercial judgment, precise dining room management, and highly personal hospitality. Working closely with the General Manager, the Head Maître d’ builds demand, develops regular guests, and ensures the room feels exceptional every night. In preparation for our upcoming opening, this position requires participation in a mandatory training program. Key Responsibilities Strategic Floor & Reservation Management • Own table inventory, availability, seating plans, pacing, and turn times., • Manage cancellations, waitlists, last-minute requests, and walk-ins to make effective use of every service., • Protect the guest experience while making sound decisions about covers and revenue., • Balance regulars, first-time guests, VIPs, celebrations, and walk-ins throughout the room. Van Leeuwen Ice Cream is hiring a full-time Logistics & Inventory Coordinator to join our Supply Chain team. As we continue to scale our CPG business across retail channels nationwide, this role is critical to ensuring our products move efficiently, on time, and on budget from our production facility to distributors, retail partners, and DTC fulfillment centers. Beyond freight, this role owns CPG inventory management end to end, weeks of supply (WOS) tracking, on-time-in-full (OTIF) performance at retailers, and inventory transfers across our 3PL network and supports our scoop shop business through 3PL inventory management, intercompany freight coordination, and logistics cost management and controls. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role sitting at the intersection of operations, vendor management, and customer service. You'll work closely with our production, sales, and finance teams to coordinate domestic freight movements, manage carrier relationships, manage inventory health across our distributor and 3PL network, and help build the logistics infrastructure that supports Van Leeuwen's next stage of growth. This role will be based out of our Bronx office and follow Van Leeuwen's Hybrid work model and be in office at least two to three days a week. Job Responsibilities • CPG Inventory Management, • Own CPG finished goods inventory visibility and accuracy across the network — production facility, 3PL warehouses, distributors, and DTC fulfillment centers, • Manage weeks of supply (WOS) by SKU and location at distributors and retailers, monitoring sell-through and flagging out-of-stock and overstock risks before they impact service or margin, • Plan and execute inventory transfers between 3PL warehouses, distributors, and fulfillment centers to balance stock, meet demand, and minimize freight and storage costs, • Reconcile 3PL and WMS inventory records against the ERP, investigating discrepancies, shrink, and damaged or short-dated product and driving root-cause resolution, • Report inventory KPIs (WOS, fill rate, inventory accuracy, aging) on a weekly cadence with clear recommendations for rebalancing or replenishment, • Freight & Transportation Management, • Coordinate inbound and outbound freight movements across LTL, FTL, and refrigerated transport for CPG retail and distributor accounts, • Book and manage shipments with carriers and 3PL partners, ensuring on-time pickup and delivery, • Track shipments in real time and proactively communicate delays or disruptions to internal stakeholders and retail partners, • Manage freight claims from initiation to resolution, including documentation and carrier follow-up, • Ensure all shipments meet temperature and cold chain compliance standards required for frozen CPG products, • Distributor & Retail Compliance, • Coordinate order fulfillment for key retail accounts (grocery, natural, club, and specialty channels), ensuring compliance with retailer routing guides and vendor requirements, • Manage ASN creation and EDI coordination with retail partners and distributors, • Monitor and reduce chargebacks and deductions related to logistics non-compliance, • Manage OTIF (On-Time, In-Full) performance at retail partners — monitor retailer scorecards, perform root-cause analysis on misses, and implement corrective actions to minimize fines and protect vendor standing, • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of retailer-specific routing, labeling, and scheduling requirements, • Vendor & Carrier Relations, • Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, brokers, and 3PL partners, • Solicit and evaluate freight quotes, supporting cost optimization across the supply chain, • Assist in identifying and onboarding new logistics partners as the network scales, • Scoop Shop Supply Chain Support, • Manage 3PL inventory and weeks of supply (WOS) for the scoop shop business, ensuring product availability for shops while minimizing excess, aged, and short-dated stock, • Coordinate intercompany freight between production facilities, 3PL warehouses, and scoop shop distribution points, ensuring on-time, temperature-compliant, and cost-effective deliveries, • Own cost management and controls for scoop shop logistics — track freight and storage spend against budget, audit carrier and 3PL invoices, flag variances, and identify savings opportunities, • Support intercompany inventory transfers and reconciliation between the CPG and scoop shop businesses, ensuring accurate intercompany records in the ERP, • Operations & Reporting, • Maintain accurate records of all shipments, freight costs, and carrier performance in TMS and ERP systems, • Generate regular freight spend and performance reports, identifying trends and cost-saving opportunities, • Collaborate with production and inventory planning teams to align shipment scheduling with production output and inventory availability, • Support month-end close by reconciling freight invoices and accruals Job Requirements • 2 to 4 years of experience in logistics, freight coordination, inventory management, or supply chain, preferably within CPG, food & beverage, or perishable goods, • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred, • Familiarity with LTL, FTL, and refrigerated freight operations, • Experience working with distributors and retail accounts (UNFI, KeHE, DPI, or similar a plus), • Working knowledge of routing guides, EDI, and ASN processes, • Proficiency in TMS, ERP, or WMS platforms; NetSuite or SAP experience a plus, • Hands-on experience managing inventory KPIs: WOS, OTIF, fill rate, and inventory accuracy, including root-cause analysis and corrective action follow-through, • Experience managing inventory at third-party (3PL) warehouses, including transfers, reconciliations, and cycle count support, • Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, lookups) for inventory, freight, and cost analysis and reporting, • Familiarity with freight budgeting, invoice auditing, and cost controls;
