POSITION OVERVIEW: We are seeking a knowledgeable, polished, detail-oriented, and hospitality-driven Bartender to join the Moss New York team with Compass Group. COMPENSATION: The hourly wage for this position is $15.00 per hour with tips. Training wage during the orientation period is $17.00 per hour. CLASSIFICATION: This is a non-exempt, hourly position. In accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), you are eligible for overtime pay at one and a half times your regular rate for all hours worked over 40 in a single workweek. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Coordinate all bar service for each shift; ensure that the bar area is properly stocked to accommodate the dining service aspect that may be requested at any time i.e. plates, silverware, napkins etc., • Accountable for an organized and clean working environment in accordance with ALL health department standards, • Possess thorough and detailed knowledge of all menus; menu knowledge should equal that of a Server position., • Adhere to the hours of work/shift system.
