Department/Unit: Critical Care Support Services Work Shift: Night (United States of America) Salary Range: $95,680.00 - $148,304.00 The STAT team is a group of critical care trained professional nurses who are available 24/7 for any issue within the hospital and medical college. STAT nurses provide specialized care to all patients, employees, and visitors requiring acute medical attention at AMCH and Albany medical college. The team members also contribute their knowledge educating staff, patients, and families to recognize clinical deterioration and how to make a proactive assessment and observation for patients at risk for deterioration. STAT team members give MOCK code training for nurses and ancillary staff to help facilitate better outcome in code situations. Hourly Range: $35.81 - 59.09 STAT Nurses respond to: Code stroke, Code Thrombectomy, Code STEMI, Code 10, Anesthesia Emergency, Code Blue, Code Malignant Hyperthermia, Code Pink and Rapid Response pages. Job Description The Schwarzman Animal Medical Center is seeking an ABVP or ACZM board-certified or board-eligible veterinarian to join our Avian and Exotic Pet Service as a full-time clinician. The Avian and Exotic Service at AMC provides 7-day/week veterinary care for a varied caseload of approximately 2,600 animals/year comprising birds, small mammals, reptiles, amphibians, and some fish. The clinician will join a service consisting of one full-time ABVP board-certified veterinarian (Reptile and Amphibian Practice), 2 part-time ABVP board-certified veterinarians (Avian Practice), and 1 per diem clinician. The Service also includes 2 house officers (2 specialty interns or intern/resident), 4 full-time and part-time technicians, 4 full-time assistants, and 1 service coordinator. Clinical and Service Responsibilities In a 4-day work week, clinical responsibilities consist of daily clinical appointments, inpatient care, clinical procedures, and consulting on walk-in emergency cases. All Capitol Debate staff are considered Camp Counselors first and foremost. Job Overview Capitol Debate Summer Camps is seeking Junior Instructors/Residential Advisors for our summer camps running from June 13 to August 6, 2026. We host camps in 15 cities throughout the country, offering a great travel opportunity. This role combines instructional duties with responsibilities in residential life. Applicants must be able and willing to live on campus during the camp duration. Staff must be available a minimum of 6 weeks during the summer to be considered. Responsibilities Instructional Duties not limited to: • Mentor and assist with the planning and implementation of residential activities, • Help students with research, writing their cases or presentations, and provide feedback, • Act as a mediator, encourager, cheerleader, mentor, and motivator in residential life activities, • Ensure active student participation and supervise student safety in all activities and dorm life., • Conduct room checks at curfew and monitor residential halls until midnight for student safety, • Attend all staff meetings during the camp, • Assist with first and last-day camp ceremonies and activities including setting up of materials, • Participate in approximately 10 hours of pre-camp training focused on camp and residential life, • Attend a minimum of 3, 2 week camp sessions, totaling 6 weeks of camp. RequirementsRequirements & Experience Counselors/junior instructors are often current college students or recent high school graduates with a background in public speaking and debate (including activities like DECA, Model UN, and Mock Trials). Experience working in youth-based programs is a plus. Required attendance at training sessions and planning meetings leading up to our summer program, including an all-staff orientation and training on Day 0. Returning Counselors are eligible for increased responsibilities and compensation.
