We are seeking Apprentice/Journeyman Electricians to join our team supporting the installation of digital visual display systems across commercial and residential properties in New York and New Jersey. This is a hands-on field installation role focused on wiring, mounting, connecting, and testing digital display systems and related electrical components. Electricians in this role will work directly with our Master Electrician and project team to execute installations safely, efficiently, and in compliance with NEC, state, and local electrical codes. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on electrical experience, enjoys working in the field, and is comfortable performing installations across multiple job sites. What you’ll do: * Communicate with Chinese-speaking vendors, contractors, and building contacts involved in installation projects to coordinate technical requirements, installation logistics, and project timelines * Perform hands-on installation of electrical components for digital display systems in commercial and residential buildings * Run wiring, connect power, mount equipment, and complete electrical connections required for display installations * Troubleshoot electrical issues during installation and ensure proper system functionality * Follow NEC, state, and local electrical codes as well as OSHA and company safety standards * Work alongside the Master Electrician to complete installations safely and efficiently * Assist with system testing and inspections to confirm proper operation and safety compliance * Coordinate with project managers and building management teams during installations * Maintain installation quality while meeting assigned project timelines * Stay up to date on company technology, electrical code updates, and installation best practices Who you are: * Bilingual proficiency in Chinese language required to communicate with Chinese-speaking vendors and installation partners involved in installation projects. * Minimum 3+ years of hands-on electrical installation experience * Electrical trade school, apprenticeship/journeyman program, or equivalent field experience preferred * Experience installing digital displays, AV systems, or similar electrical equipment preferred * Solid understanding of NEC, state, and local electrical codes * Comfortable working across multiple job sites in the field * Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues during installation * Strong communication and teamwork skills * Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites Life Space Digital offers a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, including: * Healthcare: Medical coverage to keep you and your family healthy * Dental: Comprehensive dental plan * Vision: Vision coverage for eye care and eyewear * Talkspace Therapy Package: Access to mental health support * Commuter Benefits: Assistance for in-office employees’ commuting costs * Short-Term Disability: Financial protection in case of temporary disability * 401(k): Retirement savings plan with company match * Paid Time Off (PTO): Generous leave for vacation, personal time, and holidays The pay range for this position is $60,000-$75,000; however, the base pay may vary depending on job related knowledge, skills, candidate location, and experience.
