KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Together with your fellow Mixers, Service Captains, and your Restaurant Manager you'll create delicious bowls and deliver an exceptional customer experience. The Group Leader supports COMPASS, SONYC, Beacon, and Cornerstone programs by supervising classroom-based afterschool activities for youth ages 5 to 13. This role focuses on creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth while supporting program staff with daily operations and activity implementation. REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS: · Must be at least 18 years of age · High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred · Minimum of two years of experience working directly with children ages 5 to 13 · At least one year of experience in a classroom, daycare, or school-based setting · Commitment to working from a strength-based perspective · Cultural competence and the ability to effectively engage diverse populations · Strong verbal and written communication skills · Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills · Ability to work independently and collaboratively · Willingness to take initiative and demonstrate flexibility · Must pass required reference checks and background clearances as required by DOH, DOE, DYCD, and UAU PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: · Ability to work both indoors and outdoors based on program needs and weather conditions · Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the workday · May require prolonged standing and walking during program hours · Ability to remain in a stationary position for portions of the day · Ability to communicate clearly and exchange accurate information · Ability to observe details at close range EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER United Activities Unlimited, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
