Essential Responsibilities: • Preparation of interim and annual financial statement to review by the CFO and VP, finance (prepares and record journal entries which include multi-entity allocations, intercompany transactions, handle all general ledger account and maintain all monthly and year end adjusting entries and account analysis)., • Perform assigned accounting functions, complete assigned reports and analysis and provide accurate and timely information for review., • Preparation of P&L and Balance sheet supporting schedules and reports for external auditors and respond to special requests for upper management., • Oversees General accounting department and train staff and cross-over for absent employees., • Responsible for tracking of fixed assets, construction in progress and capital leases., • Assist with the External Auditors Perform varying account analysis and work papers., • Preparation of physician compensation and contract administration functions for over 200 physicians (employed and 1099), responsible of implementing compensation plans/models to show overall physician strategy., • Interface with outside accountant in providing the data needed for preparation of corporate tax return which includes intensive data analysis and research., • Preparation of all quarterly and yearly federal and state tax returns., • Prepare budgets to be reviewed by the CFO and VP of Finance., • Approve check request for payment., • Handle any request for special project., • Bachelors degree in Accounting, • CPA/ MBA desired, • Minimum of 3 years accounting experience, • Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP), • Presentation Skills, • Strong problem solving and analytical skills, • Advanced proficiency in MS Office products: Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint, • Excellent written and oral communication skills
