    The Proposal Coordinator works within the corporate marketing team to support proposal development, qualifications, award submissions, and marketing materials. This role works under the guidance of the Marketing/Proposal Manager to collaborate closely with technical staff and firm leadership on proposals and multiple deadline-driven project. As Proposal Coordinator, you will be an integral member of a team involved with: Coordinate proposal development, including technical writing, editing, and proofreading. Develop content such as executive summaries, project descriptions, qualifications, resumes, and responses. Interpreting RFP requirements and researching background materials. Coordinating preparation and application of industry award pursuits Liaising with marketing staff in our other offices Maintaining our database of proposal pursuits and projects Learning our project and client portfolio. Qualifications and Education Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Business or a related field. or equivalent experience required. 5 years of experience with a related consulting business – Preference to engineering consulting, professional services, architecture, construction or similar industries. 5+ years of experience developing and coordinating responses to formal RFPs, and RFQs, within a consulting, engineering, AEC, or professional services organization. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with high attention to detail, ability to write clearly with a high level of accuracy, using proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Professional experience with Deltek Vantagepoint highly desirable, experience with CRM required. Advanced Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, etc.). Professional (working) knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, is considered an asset. Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate thoughts and technical ideas in an accessible way, both verbally and in writing. Ability to work efficiently as part of a team on concurrent, deadline-driven projects; willingness, and ability to succeed in a collaborative, team-based environment. The hourly bill rate that we are aiming for is $65-85 hourly. Providing a wide range here as we are targeting candidates with about 5-8 years’ experience.
