Job DescriptionBenefits: • 401(k), • 401(k) matching, • Health insurance, • Competitive salary, • Dental insurance, • Paid time off About the role We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented and driven General Manager to join the Savory Hospitality team at one of our business dining locations. Our business dining locations are one of our unique service offerings that provide the full Savory team member experience, as well as the opportunity to work directly with our onsite clients on a daily basis. Our ideal candidate will anticipate and address the needs of the company and our clientele with a heavy focus on hospitality, service, health and safety standards and team management. Here are some examples of the primary responsibilities of our onsite General Manager: • Oversee all daily operations, including food service, catering, pantry and front-of-house staff, • Lead team scheduling, manage time cards and ensure compliance with labor and overtime policies, • Maintain inventory of pantry, beverages and supplies and coordinate equipment maintenance as needed, • Manage vendor relationships to ensure quality service and cost-effective pricing, • Process and confirm client catering requests; ensure accurate setup and service, • Collaborate with the clients hospitality team to meet and exceed service expectations, • Recruit, train and manage all members of the onsite team, • Track progress on operational goals and communicate updates to Savory leadership, • Ensure adherence to health, safety and food handling regulations, • Act as Savorys onsite leadership representativeproactively problem-solving and escalating issues as needed, • Uphold Savorys hospitality standards across guest and team interactions What were looking for At Savory, our people are at the heart of everything we do. Your experience should show us the following: • At least 5 years of management experience in a hospitality setting (catering, restaurant, hotel), • Proven experience in budget management, planning, and oversight, • Success in delegating and prioritizing to maximize the operations efficiency, • Strong computer skills, with an emphasis on Excel and Word. Restaurant365 and/or Flex Catering experience is a plus!, • Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills, • Demonstrated ability to train, manage, and supervise a diverse team with understanding of general labor laws and best practices, • NY Food Handlers Certification, or willingness to obtain one within one month of hire, • Standing and walking for the majority of daily working hours, • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, • Company-sponsored medical plans, including health, dental, and vision coverage, • Access to a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and transit benefits, • A supportive, fast-growing culture with plenty of room for advancement, • Direct impact and visibility with clients and company leadership
