The mid-day assistant teacher will fill in for head teachers when needed to provide instruction and social-emotional support to students, as well as to assist with coverage for lunch periods and end-of-day dismissal. Our classrooms typically consist of ten or fewer students. Teachers have the opportunity to receive mentorship, coaching, and support from the clinicians as well as academic administrators. Work Environment: This job operates in a school setting. The school is located on the 5th and 6th floors of the building with an elevator. This role requires regular walking to various locations around the school and occasionally traveling to the Upper School campus approximately two blocks away.
