Job Description Marketing Coordinator Arizona Athletic Grounds - Mesa, AZ Position Summary Arizona Athletic Grounds is seeking a highly organized, creative and hands-on Marketing Coordinator to support the promotion of one of North America’s premier sports and entertainment destinations. This role will help drive awareness, engagement and attendance across AAG’s year-round calendar of tournaments, leagues, camps, events, partner activations and community programming. The ideal candidate is a strong visual communicator with experience creating graphics, presentations and social media content, while also being comfortable capturing content on-site, supporting events, coordinating marketing calendars and executing sponsor and partner deliverables. Arizona Athletic Grounds is a 275-acre campus with significant year-round traffic, 158 fields and courts, indoor fieldhouse space, food and beverage, hospitality areas, premium digital boards and campus-wide screens. This role should help tell that story consistently across social, digital, event and partnership channels. Key Responsibilities Content Creation & Digital Marketing • Create marketing graphics and branded materials using Canva and other design tools, • Build and update PowerPoint decks, one-sheets, event recaps, sponsor materials and promotional presentations, • Assist with social media planning, posting, scheduling and engagement across AAG platforms, • Capture photos and short-form video content during tournaments, events, activations and campus programming, • Edit basic video clips, reels, stories and highlight content for social media, • Support on-site event marketing including signage, sponsor activations, promotional booths, photo moments and recap content, • Assist in executing pre-event, live and post-event marketing plans to drive attendance and engagement, • Support the execution and fulfillment of all sponsor and partner deliverables across digital, social, on-site and experiential assets, • Manage and track sponsor deliverables including:, • Social media posts and collaborations, • Newsletter placements, • Website and app integrations, • Digital screen and on-campus media placements, • On-site activations, booths and sampling opportunities, • Coordinate asset collection from partners (logos, creative, messaging, links, etc.) and ensure all materials meet brand standards and spec requirements, • Assist in building and maintaining sponsor activation calendars aligned with campaigns, events and contractual obligations, • Execute partner promotions across AAG channels to ensure visibility and value delivery, • Capture and organize content from sponsor activations for use in recaps, reporting and future sales materials, • Assist in creating sponsor recap decks including photos, metrics, impressions and engagement summaries, • Maintain and organize a marketing/content calendar tied to events, tournaments, promotions and partner commitments, • Track basic performance metrics such as social growth, engagement, content output and campaign performance, • Help organize creative assets, logos, templates, photos and sponsor materials, • Strong Canva skills and a good eye for clean, professional graphic design, • Proficiency in PowerPoint or Google Slides, • Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn, • Ability to capture quality photo and video content using a phone or basic camera setup, • Basic video editing experience for reels, stories and short-form content, • Strong writing and proofreading skills, • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and event timelines simultaneously, • Comfortable working nights/weekends around major tournaments and events, • Highly organized, proactive and comfortable in a fast-paced environment, • Experience in sports, events, hospitality, entertainment or venue marketing, • Experience supporting sponsorships, brand activations or partner marketing, • Familiarity with email marketing platforms, CMS tools and scheduling platforms (Meta, Later, Hootsuite, etc.), • Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut or Canva video tools, • Experience building sponsor recap decks and post-event reports Education • 4 year degree in Marketing or Business (Strongly preferred), • High School Diploma or Equivalent/GED (Required) Physical Requirements • Must be able to tolerate moderate to loud noise levels and busy environments., • May work in high/low temperature climates inside or outside at events at AAG., • Sitting, walking, standing for periods of time, reaching, kneeling, and bending., • Requires ability to occasionally lift up to 5-20 lbs., • Weekends, evenings, holidays as needed AZ Athletic Associates, LLC., and Arizona Athletic Grounds are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
