Qualifications, • You bring 4 plus years of compliance experience, ideally from a registered investment adviser, law firm, investment consulting firm, or have practiced law regarding registered investment companies, • You have a strong knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and the Investment Company Act of 1940., • You’re familiar with SEC examination practices and preferably have hands-on experience with both actual and mock exams., • You understand regulatory frameworks beyond the SEC, including CFTC, NFA, and FINRA requirements., • You’re expected to apply your regulatory knowledge to guide clients effectively and ensure their compliance programs are robust and up to date. Job DescriptionDescription: Founded in 1866, The Floating Hospital, is one of the last remaining charity hospitals in New York City. Our commitment is the same as it was 159 years ago: unrestricted healthcare to all who walk through our doors, regardless of identity, insurance status, or the ability to pay. We welcome individuals of all ages, from infants, school-age children (5+), youth and adults. The Floating Hospital is a Federally Qualified Health Center and the largest provider to homeless families living in family shelters and domestic violence safe houses throughout all five boroughs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Patient Care: • Provides medical care to Floating Hospital pediatric, adolescent and adult patients., • Takes relevant patient history., • Identifies patient needs and makes diagnoses., • Develops and implements treatment plans using diagnostic data., • Performs complete well-care examinations including physical examinations., • Performs complete gynecological histories and physical examinations as indicated., • Writes prescriptions and informs patients about medications prescribed., • Completes medical forms and documentation related to patient care., • Makes and tracks all referrals to other agencies and providers, with follow-up care provided., • Assists with immunizations and/or phlebotomy, as needed, to ensure smooth patient flow., • Works collaboratively with physician and specialists for consultation and referral purposes., • Meets with designated supervising physician on a regular and predetermined basis, in order to receive recommendations and collaborate towards delivering quality health care to patients, based on accepted standards of-care., • Participates in Peer Review process, as defined by The Floating Hospital., • Encourages health promotion, disease prevention, and health maintenance.
