To provide transportation for youth and families as well as staff throughout the five boroughs. Driver may also transport and or pick up equipment and supplies, confidential documents, mail, and other items. Must be able to bend, pick up and assist youth, families and staff getting their belongings into van. Must be able to lift and move items to various sites. Must be able to maintain safe driving speeds, log in trips, mileage, gas usage and perform other accountability functions. When not driving, will be required to function as a residential aid performing front desk duty, serving meals, cleanup, activity set up and other tasks as needed. Minimum of high school diploma. Must have a valid NYS Driver's License. Must have a minimum of three (3) years driving safely. Experience working in shelters, hospitals and or residential settings preferred. Cannot have violations, outstanding tickets on license. Must be a team player and have the ability to work independently. Must be flexible and able to work some evenings and weekends. Schedule will be staggered. Must be Bilingual; must have strong conversation and writing skills in both English and Spanish.
