We’re looking for a strong Marketing leader who has a positive, entrepreneurial spirit who understands the power of working collaboratively while being a strong voice and champion of the Marketing field. POSITION OVERVIEW: As Intermediate Interior Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for: • Architectural Drawings & Renderings, • Permitting, • Bidding, • Project Management, • Construction Administration The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in a general architectural practice, with at least 2 years of experience in retail or hospitality. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop Architectural Drawings, Renderings, and Construction Documentation: • Develop architectural drawings, renderings, and construction documentation, • Prepare complete Permit/Bid, and Construction Documentation ready for Architect review, stamp and signature, • Document and communicate design intent through diagrams, drawings and renderings, • Contribute architectural knowledge and techniques to project delivery, • Solve design and technical challenges, • Conduct code analysis, • Coordinate MEP Engineers for plans and specifications Permitting: • Coordinate Permitting with Permit Consultant, • Participate in the VE process Bidding: • Coordinate Bids from multiple contractors, • Conduct contractor interviews and pre-bid meetings, • Vet references, • Award work Project Management: • Responsible for managing time to meet deadlines and communicating effectively with managers, • Coordinate with internal and external project teams, • Maintain organized project records and contribute to project quality control, • Manage documentation, specifications, and material selections, • Manage FF&E Procurement, • Coordinate FF&E Deliveries, • Manage vendors, invoicing, and payments Construction Administration: • Conduct site visits as necessary, • Participate in pre-construction and construction meetings with GC’s and Partners, • Create, review and ensure punch list items are completed in a timely manner QUALIFICATIONS: • Diploma in Architectural Technology or Degree in Architecture/Interior Architecture, • Strong knowledge of building codes, accessibility standards, and construction detailing, • Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino and/or SketchUp, • Working-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, • 3+ Years of Experience with Permitting, Bidding, Project Management and Construction Administration, • Experience working directly with clients, contractors, vendors, fabricators, and consultants, • Passion for premium hospitality experiences, human factors, and creating spatial experiences that inspire and restore, • Health and Wellness experience will be considered a strong asset, • A strong portfolio showcasing Construction Documents for 2500+ sq.ft Retail or Hospitality Spaces, Renderings, Millwork Details, and FF&E Specifications This is a 12 month contract position with the potential to become a full-time position.
