Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) coordinates healthcare for employees in the onsite clinic, overseeing the evaluation and case management of workplace injuries and compliance with medical surveillance programs. The RN relays information to employees and client key stakeholders regarding workplace safety and injury prevention, assuring compliance with health-related OSHA mandates. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Treats acute occupational injuries, • Performs drug tests, hearing tests, pulmonary function tests, and fit tests, • Responds to medical emergencies. Initiates and facilitates ongoing health and wellness screenings and wellness functions for employees, • Manages cases of workman's compensation claims in conjunction with the employer representative and insurance carrier, • Facilitates return-to-work and light-duty assignments for employees with work-related injuries, • Maintains a current case log for workplace injuries outlining treatment plans for weekly case reviews, • Assures compliance with OSHA and DOT programs, such as hearing conservation, blood-borne pathogen training, random drug screening, and follow-up programs, • Maintains healthcare unit inventory of medications and supplies, • Assists the employer representative with the administration of the Non-Occupational Disability Program, • Exhibits a positive and proactive attitude towards managing the clinic, clinical functions, and patient flow, • Maintains charts and employee records, • Prepares and supervises the clinic/patient interaction of the Overseeing Physician as necessary, • Valid state license, • 3+ years of nursing experience, • 2+ years of occupational health experience, • On-site occupational health experience (Preferred), • Certified to perform DOT urine drug and alcohol screens (Preferred), • Certification in Occupational Hearing Conservationist (Preferred), • Certified in CPR/AED/First Aid, • Ability to communicate with all levels across the organization effectively, • Strong administrative and management skills, • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality, • Experienced in developing health and wellness programs and performing ergonomic assessment, • Strong knowledge of workers’ compensation case management and regulations, • Working knowledge of HIPAA, ADA, FMLA, and OSHA regulations, • Familiarity with manufacturing and production facility practices, • Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word to generate reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and training courses Salaried ranges listed are for full time (40 hour) employees. Responsibilities: Budget Updates: • Produce thorough forecast of Cost-to-Complete which drills down to identify potential exposures, • Coordinate the use of Oracle with Expedition to readily identify exposures, • Require the project team to track costs of field directives and back charges for forecasting purposes, • Create detailed analysis of line-item exposures, particularly unit price contracts, • Follow the Forecasting Calendar for on-time completion of forecasts, • Require the project team to fully utilize Expedition to track all Proposed Change Order (PCO) items including in-scope and out-of-scope, • Provide the Owner with up-to-date status reports relating to Changes, • Require the project team to produce a monthly Owner Change Order (OCO) to prevent aging of PCO issues which further allows for timely closure of Changes with Subcontractors, • Work to recover all legitimate GC costs relating to Owner Changes, • Track the status of all Contract Allowances in Expedition and submits Change Order Requests (COR) when an over-run is likely, • Establish an effective Close-out Plan early in the project which includes the early collection, review, and packaging of Contract close-out documents, • Implement the use of the Noncompliance Reporting System, • Require the team to utilize the Work list System to organize and manage the completion of phases of the "Firm but Fair" approach to building relationships with Subcontractors, • Promote an environment of organization and professionalism with Subcontractors, • Work with the Project Team, including process to prevent the "Just in time" purchase of materials, • Provide leadership with the Superintendent to produce a clear, thorough, and accurate baseline Contract Schedule which rarely requires changes to the original logic, • Track events, impacts, and changes in the schedule to allow for the management and prevention of delays, • Lead the Project Team to focus on critical path matters to prevent non-excusable delays, • Manage and distribute organized and efficient Monthly Updating Process in accordance with the SCCI SOP, • Complete the buy-out process in a manner which permits the timely flow of work, prevents budget issues, contract executions, bonds, insurance, etc., • Write timely notices to Owner and Subcontractors, • Secure CCD authorizations before proceeding with Changes, • Take immediate action when a non-performing Subcontractor is likely to cause impact to the Project, • Work to complete the submittal and coordination process no later than 180 days, • Work to establish a trusting and professional relationship with the Owner, • Focus on keeping the Owner well informed of important matters to prevent surprises, • Work to secure a strong letter of Ensure that care is of the highest clinical standards and consistent with CCS philosophy and policy., • Ensure that assigned MCSD school-based counselors are apprised of current evidence based practices (EBP’s), implements EBP’s, and ensures that the agency is meeting or exceeding standards of good clinical outcomes., • Ensures the goals of the school-based counselor program are being met within the MCSD., • Ensure that all paperwork by the school-based staff is completed in a professional and timely manner, and provide supervision when this goal is not being met., • Ensure that the quality of clinical work is superior and completed in a professional manner, and provide supervision when this goal is not being met., • Provide after hours emergency services on a 24 hour, rotating basis to adults and children. This includes telephone consultation and crisis intervention in the community., • Ensure knowledge and application of CCS personnel policies and procedures., • May initiate holds, provide civil commitment investigations, and work with the hospitals, case workers and the state and other individuals/agencies for all individuals in the civil commitment process., • This position recruits, hires and trains new staff along with their supervisor, Clinical Director, Human Resources and/or the Executive Director. They provide supervision and conduct performance evaluations. They follow policies for employee discipline and termination when necessary. Works to resolve conflict as appropriate and provides positive leadership., • When necessary, in consultation with Clinical Director, Human Resources and/or the Executive Director, engage in disciplinary actions., • Provide utilization management for adults and children needing to access higher levels of care., • Schedule and participate in meetings with other agencies and the schools to ensure continuity of service delivery and ensure that CCS is highly regarded school personnel and school district personnel., • Ensure that all paperwork is professional and timely., • Follow the grievance process for customer complaints and work diligently to resolve complaints., • Ensure that the agency is meeting or exceeding all of the requirements for the relevant OAR’s, as well as the clinical contractual requirements as required by Greater Oregon Behavioral Health (GOBHI) and the schools, and all other contractual obligations., • Ensure that clients are scheduled in a timely manner., • Responsible for ensuring school-based counselor staff coverage by overseeing vacations, sick leave, training, etc., • May work with contracted prescribers to put together schedules and ensure that the service delivery is well coordinated for prescribers and the customers they see. Consult with prescribers to coordinate medical treatment., • May infrequently administer forms for urinalysis testing (UA’s), provide accurate information on the UA’s to clients, in some cases observes the UA, and record all pertinent information., • Work with Quality Assurance Coordinator to ensure that clinicians are meeting quality assurance standards., • When requested, participate in internal administrative meetings. Hold regular clinical staff meetings., • Communicate with members of the public to coordinate work programs, inform the public about our services, and speak with groups about our services and/or specific areas of mental health and alcohol/drug programs and school programs., • Serve on various boards or committees in the community as it relates to program services., • Assist Business Operations Manager in ensuring that there is a good working relationship between clerical and clinical staff and lines of communication are kept open., • Transport customers as needed. Education and/or Experience Clinical Supervisor I -Master’s degree from an accredited university in psychology, sociology or other human services related field and have 2 years of post-grad experience in the delivery of clinical services. Preferred supervisor experience. Clinical Supervisor II – Licensed (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) with 5 years’ experience in delivery of clinical services. Prefer 3 years' experience being a supervisor in related field. Other Skills and Abilities • Knowledge of the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness and addictions and principles of counseling., • The ability to use independent judgment including finely developed decision making, planning, analytical and organizational skills., • Ability to prepare and maintain detailed and accurate records., • Ability to communicate and coordinate well with a diverse population including staff members, professional consultants, agencies, customers, and members of the general public., • Ability to understand, interpret and apply laws, regulations and administrative rules related to mental health and chemical dependency., • Ability to learn and implement CCS procedures, regulations and requirements with respect to procurement, budget, safety, operations and organization., • Must be a self starter and demonstrate the ability to supervise and assign work to subordinates; ability to work effectively with other employees and the general public., • Good organizational and time management skills are essential., • Must be able to work with minimal supervision., • The position requires the handling of highly confidential information. Must adhere to rules and laws pertaining to client confidentiality., • Must be able to communicate effectively in both written and oral formats. Must have the ability to present and exchange inform, • ation internally across teams and co-workers, and externally with customers and the public. Information communicated ranges from routine/basic to complex and confidential information., • Must hold a valid drivers license and be insurable or carry insurance for client service purposes and for travel between business offices, the community, and to attend required meetings and/or trainings. Must show proof of $300,000 or more liability coverage for bodily injury and $100,000 property damage, and maintain said level of coverage for the duration of employment at CCS. The employee’s insurance is primary with CCS insurance being secondary. CCS reserves the right to deny any employee the use of a vehicle owned by CCS. PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use office automation including computer and phone systems that require find manipulation, grasping, typing and reaching. The employee is also regularly required to sit; talk and hear; use hands and fingers and handle or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop; kneel and/or squat when adjusting equipment or retrieving supplies. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus. The employee should possess a valid driver’s license for vehicle travel when working on behalf of the agency. When serving in the on-call rotation, employee may be required to perform on less than optimal amounts of sleep. WORK ENVIRONMENT Work is performed in an office environment as well as in the community. The noise level in the office environment is usually moderate, but occasionally one may be exposed to loud noises. The noise in the community, including the homes of customers, is often difficult to predict. Occasional out of area travel and overnight stays will be required for attendance at meetings and/trainings. However, the employee also will be required to work in the communities, homes and other living environments, of the clients we serve. Handicap access may not be available at all places where this position must go. There are some situations where this position may be required to respond to environments where a client is in crisis. The environments in these situations are difficult to predict and may be in uneven terrain.
