ESSENTIAL/CORE JOB-SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Functions as a practicing clinician on the Mobile Response Team. Provides crisis services on-site and in the community., • Coordinates the crisis counseling response per Agency protocol., • Complies with all program policies and procedures., • Conducts clinical assessments and provide direct clinical intervention and referral services, including “warm hand-off” to other providers as directed in policy., • Provides crisis intervention counseling and risk assessment., • Collects collateral information from families and other sources to complete risk assessment., • Initiates Baker Act and Marchman Act examinations when appropriate., • Links clients served with services and other resources., • Provides follow-up outreach per MRT protocols., • Maintains all required documentation in accordance with Clinical Record Handbook specifications or Agency policies and procedures., • Consults with inpatient and outpatient staff about referrals as needed., • Perform as back-up for the Licensed Mental Health Professionals on the TEAM unit.
