Job DescriptionSalary: $12 Lucky Goat Coffee is a specialty coffee production roaster based out of Tallahassee, Florida and making waves nationally. Since opening in 2010, Lucky Goat Coffee has continued to remain focused on the expansion of the brand through exceptional customer interactions and company specialization. Today we operate throughout the Florida Panhandle, as well as our most recent expansion into Georgia, where we can share our passion for great coffee with more people. Our Lead Barista focuses on providing an exceptional experience for our caf customers through the creation of incredible drinks, impactful caf experiences, and providing consistent leadership of the caf team. The Lead Barista position is responsible for partnering with the Caf Leader to lead team members and the caf in an efficient and profitable manner. This includes, but is not limited to: day to day store operations, quality control, fostering a positive community environment and ensuring consistent quick service with a focus on hospitality. Requirements • A dedicated and supportive team player, flexible, accommodating, doing what it takes to help others succeed., • Certified by Senior Corporate Trainer as a Lead on espresso machine operations, coffee processes and caf operations., • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing., • Approachable, diligent and willing to work with others., • Demonstrates a strong work ethic and desire to accomplish any task., • Must have strong organization and time management skills., • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for more than 4 hours., • Ability to work a full-time flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business., • Demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for hospitality and service. Job Description • Assisting in leading the caf customer experience. Ensuring all customers receive excellence in both product and services., • Cultivate a caf environment that is inviting, clean and mirrors the Lucky Goat Coffee brand image., • Participate with the Caf Leader to drive company promotions and events for cafe staff and customer base., • Oversee cash handling and loss prevention processes including being able to perform all POS duties and maintain status of key carrier., • Maintain high-quality standards of food and beverage preparation in accordance with Food Safety regulations., • Perform espresso drink making and latte art creation duties for the caf team., • Assists the Caf Leader in providing daily, consistent leadership to both opening and closing teams., • Trained in ordering processes and assists Caf Leader with purchasing., • Ensure that cafes are always ready to meet the needs of their customers.
