Job Description Motor Assistance Vehicle Technician (MAVT)/ Motor Assistance Vehicle Operator (MAVO) SUMMARY: The Motor Assistance Vehicle Technician/Operator (MAVT/MAVO) is responsible for all aspects of patients’ care within the scope of certification. Essential Job Functions The Motor Assistance Vehicle Technician/Operator (MAVT/MAVO) is an integral part of the Virgo transportation team. In this position the MAVT/MAVO transports ambulatory patients to and from residences and or skilled nursing facilities to medical treatments and or appointments, and then return them. Some of the patients are able to ambulate to our vehicles while other must be moved in their wheelchairs, or are able to move on their electric scooters. No person is to ride the lift while standing, or on the electric scooter. The patients are placed in a wheelchair to go up on the lift, and they are moved inside and secured to the vehicle either on the bench seat or in the wheelchair. Should there be an aide or family member accompanying the patient, they must be secured in the vehicle as well. The MAVT/MAVO must check to see if any belongings or paperwork must accompany the patient for the transport, and then ensure that it gets dropped off with the patient. For each trip the appropriate documentation must be filled out, and where required, obtain the necessary signatures from the patient and /or facility. In the event monies are to be collected at time of service, a receipt is to be filled out and a copy given to the patient, or the person accompanying the patient. The MAVT/MAVO must be capable of good oral communications as for every leg of the trip dispatch must be communicated with, as to alert them to the status of the transport. In addition should any incident occur dispatch must be notified in a timely manner. The vehicle being used for any particular shift must be checked both prior and post usage for mechanical operations, fluids, and general cleanliness. The MAVT/MAVO must be able to utilize maps in order to locate facilities or residences that they are not aware of, with the assistance of dispatch. At the conclusion of the MAVT’s/MAVO's shift they must turn in the appropriate paperwork, and monies collected. Essential Job Functions The Motor Assistance Vehicle Technician/Operator (MAVT/MAVO) is an integral part of the Virgo transportation team. In this position the MAVT/MAVO transports ambulatory patients to and from residences and or skilled nursing facilities to medical treatments and or appointments, and then return them. Some of the patients are able to ambulate to our vehicles while other must be moved in their wheelchairs, or are able to move on their electric scooters. No person is to ride the lift while standing, or on the electric scooter. The patients are placed in a wheelchair to go up on the lift, and they are moved inside and secured to the vehicle either on the bench seat or in the wheelchair. Should there be an aide or family member accompanying the patient, they must be secured in the vehicle as well. The MAVT/MAVO must check to see if any belongings or paperwork must accompany the patient for the transport, and then ensure that it gets dropped off with the patient. For each trip the appropriate documentation must be filled out, and where required, obtain the necessary signatures from the patient and /or facility. In the event monies are to be collected at time of service, a receipt is to be filled out and a copy given to the patient, or the person accompanying the patient. The MAVT/MAVO must be capable of good oral communications as for every leg of the trip dispatch must be communicated with, as to alert them to the status of the transport. In addition should any incident occur dispatch must be notified in a timely manner. The vehicle being used for any particular shift must be checked both prior and post usage for mechanical operations, fluids, and general cleanliness. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? This role will have five (5) main areas of responsibilities: * Become the Best Bar: While the actual award would be nice, for us this is a mindset! Being the best bar means we offer amazing drinks and service, built a beautiful bar, and have guests who absolutely love coming to see us. As the bar manager, you will help lead this effort and team to deliver a bar experience that will set the standard for the brand across the country. * Be a Coach and a Teammate: We are only as good as the team around us. As a leader of the venue, you will be a coach and teammate to all those around you especially the bar staff you will oversee. We look to develop our teammates both professional and personally everyday. * Develop a Winning Beverage Program: Our beverage program is crucial to the success of our entire operation. As we open and learn, you will help lead efforts in refining our beverage program to ensure we are providing a best-in-class offering that our guests absolutely love and we can execute effectively and efficiently. * Manage Bar Performance Effectively: Venue performance is critical to success. For the bar, this goes beyond just financial success. For us, success means holistic achievement across every aspect of our business (e.g., team health, guest experience, brand value, financials). You will be in charge of managing bar performance and achieving defined weekly goals to allow us to hit our company target. * Have Fun in a Safe and Professional Manner: While we love to have fun, we must do this in a safe and responsible manner. You will be responsible for ensuring your bar adheres to all compliance, safety, and HR related policies and procedures. We are a two location temperature controls distributor specializing in providing engineering, materials, and startup assistance for temperature control systems. We are looking for someone to work independently in the field to startup, service, and support these systems in coordination with our in-house engineering team. What Will Make You Successful in This Role? • Experience and certification with programming either Johnson FX controllers (CCT) (preferred), Honeywell Spyder, and/or Niagara AX/N4 (any brand)., • Experience with ACAD, or similar CAD software., • Knowledge of industry-standard communication protocols such as BACnet MSTP, BACnet IP, Niagara, JCI N2, Modbus, Lon, Etc., • Niagara N4 certification., • 3 years of building automation experience required., • Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems operations., • Ability to read mechanical prints and schematics., • Ability to work independently and in a team setting., • Basic knowledge regarding use of a PC (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)., • Competent with the use of electrical test equipment, i.e., Multi meter, shop tools, hand tools, pneumatic tools., • Mechanical aptitude required., • The ability to troubleshoot basic electric and electronic circuitry including reading and interpreting electrical and electronic diagrams., • Valid and clean NYS Driver's License to operate company vehicles., • Ability to Stand for 8 Hours, • Ability to lift 50 pounds, • Ability to work on elevated platforms, • Ability to climb ladders, • This position may require standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching and/or reaching Salary Range: $60,000 – $100,000/year Benefits • Health Insurance (medical, dental, vision), • PTO Program and Paid Holidays, • 401K, • EAP We are an equal opportunity employer.
