(WSFSSH) is a community-based organization responding to the need for low-cost housing. Our mission is to provide safe, affordable housing with supportive services within a residential setting that enhances the independence and dignity of each person. WSFSSH develops, manages, and provides social services in housing for low-income persons, especially those who are older, who have experienced homelessness and who live with mental illness. Job Summary Under the direct supervision of the Area Manager, the superintendent is responsible for proper upkeep and maintenance of the building with the goal of providing a safe, well-maintained facility for residents and staff. The Superintendent will carry out all repairs and preventive maintenance tasks within the building and on the grounds. He/she will be responsible to ensure that all maintenance and custodial work is being done properly and in a timely manner. The superintendent will also oversee projects to guide them to successful and timely conclusions.
