Job Description General Description The Maintenance Operations Supervisor is responsible for the strategic oversight, coordination and management of maintenance operations across agency-owned and leased properties to ensure safe, compliant, and well-maintained environments for clients, future clients, visitors and team members. This position provides leadership and direction to the maintenance team, coordinates vendors and contractors, manages preventative maintenance initiatives and ensures operational compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and agency standards. Qualifications and Competencies • 5+ years of experience in facilities management, property maintenance, or building operations (supervisory experience required), • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance, • Proven leadership and team management skills, • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, • Experience using maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office. Duties and Responsibilities • Manage day-to-day maintenance operations and facilities management across multiple sites., • Oversee and prioritize work orders, repairs, and preventive maintenance programs (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, boilers)., • Ensure compliance with building codes, OSHA regulations, and safety standards., • Supervise and support maintenance technicians, including scheduling, training, and performance management., • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, inspectors, and property stakeholders to complete repairs and projects., • Conduct facility inspections, identify maintenance needs, and recommend capital improvements and cost-saving initiatives., • Manage inventory, equipment, and fleet maintenance records., • Respond to and oversee emergency maintenance and on-call operations. Schedule • Must be available to work a flexible schedule and assist during nights, weekend, holidays and On-call hours as needed.
