Position: Gourmet/Deli Team Member Join our team and immerse yourself in the world of gourmet foods, where you'll assist customers in discovering perfect pairings with wine, beer, and spirits. Reporting to the Gourmet Manager, you'll also play a key role in curating exquisite gift baskets. Key Responsibilities: Customer Assistance: Utilize your knowledge of gourmet products to guide customers in making selections and pairings. Help customers create stunning gourmet gift baskets. Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the latest trends and new products in the gourmet market. Stock Management: Rotate stock regularly and remove expired items from shelves and displays. Sampling Stations: Ensure sampling stations are well-stocked and maintained, providing customers with exciting new tastes. Qualifications: Expertise and Skills: Basic knowledge of gourmet foods and beverages, with a willingness to expand your knowledge. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds. Other Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old. Basic computer proficiency.
