Job description NYLAG’s Community Access Programs Unit and Employment Law Project have an immediate opening for a Temporary Staff Attorney to work on employment law cases. This temporary position is expected to be for a period of 6 months. The Temporary Attorney will be handling a former attorney’s case load, engaging with clients and providing further representation as needed. The Staff Attorney will analyze Unemployment Insurance Appeal Board cases, NYS Division of Human Rights cases and other employment law matters. The Temporary Staff Attorney will be supervised by the Project Director of the Employment Law Project and also report to the Director of the Community Access Programs Unit.
