Job DescriptionBenefits: • 401(k) matching, • Competitive salary Position Overview Home Link International Inc. is expanding its services to include Home Health Care, and we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Home Health Administrative Assistant to support this new division. This role will focus on coordinating services for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Home Health Aides (HHA), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), and Registered Nurses (RN) while ensuring compliance with state regulations, payer requirements, and company standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare administration, scheduling, credentialing, and insurance coordination, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workflows in a fast-paced environment. Core Responsibilities 1. Home Health Operations & Administrative Support • Manage daily administrative operations for the home health division, • Serve as the first point of contact for:, • Patients and families, • Field staff (CNA, HHA, LPN, RN), • Maintain organized and compliant records for all clients and staff, • Handle incoming calls, referrals, and service inquiries2. Patient Intake & Case Setup, • Process new home health referrals and admissions, • Collect and verify required documentation, including:, • Physician orders, • Plan of care, • Insurance information, • Enter patient information into the system accurately, • Ensure all required documentation is obtained prior to start of care3. Scheduling & Staffing Coordination, • Coordinate scheduling for:, • CNA / HHA visits, • Skilled nursing visits (LPN/RN), • Match staff to cases based on:, • Availability, • Skill level, • Location, • Manage schedule changes, call-outs, and coverage needs, • Monitor visit utilization and service gaps4. Credentialing & Insurance Enrollment (CRITICAL ROLE), • Manage credentialing for all clinical staff, including:, • CNA / HHA certifications, • LPN/RN licenses, • CPR certifications, • Background checks and fingerprinting, • Coordinate provider enrollment with insurance companies, including:, • Submitting applications for nurses and agency enrollment, • Ensuring all required documents are included (licenses, NPI, credentials), • Tracking payer enrollment status and approvals, • Following up with insurance companies on pending applications, • Maintain records of:, • Credentialing status, • Insurance participation, • Expiration and renewal dates, • Ensure staff are fully credentialed and eligible before providing services5. Billing & Insurance Coordination, • Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits, • Confirm authorization requirements for home health services, • Ensure accurate entry of:, • Diagnosis codes, • Service codes, • Visit documentation, • Assist with:, • Claim preparation and submission, • Reviewing billing reports, • Identifying billing errors or missing documentation, • Coordinate with billing team on:, • Denials, • Payment issues, • Authorization discrepancies6. Compliance & Regulatory Requirements, • Ensure compliance with:, • State home health regulations, • Medicaid / Medicare (if applicable), • Insurance and payer guidelines, • Monitor:, • Staff compliance (licenses, certifications), • Patient documentation completeness, • Timely submission of visit notes and reports, • Support audits and quality assurance reviews7. Documentation & Data Management, • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for:, • Patients, • Staff, • Credentialing and enrollment, • Ensure all documentation is:, • Complete, • Legible, • Submitted on time, • Monitor for missing documentation and follow up accordingly8.
