Over the last 40+ years we have grown into one of the leading mechanical service providers in our region. Our specialties include HVAC, Refrigeration, Plumbing, Drain Cleaning, Environmental and Vacuum Truck Services, Emergency Underground Repairs, as well as Septic Pumping and Lift Stations. With locations in both Vineland and Cranbury, we are well positioned to provide 24/7 mechanical services to all of New Jersey, as well as Eastern Pennsylvania, and Northern Delaware. Our customers include a wide variety of building owners, contractors, industrial production facilities, commercial enterprises, municipal and government entities, and property managers. In addition to our Emergency Services, we also provide Design and Build Services, Construction Management, and Preventative/Reactive/Predictive Maintenance Programs. Plumbing Technical Services Lead Position Overview The Plumbing Technical Services Lead's responsibility is to ensure sure the services we are providing meet G.E. Mechanical plumbing quality standards. As a Plumbing Technical Services Lead you will review work completed by plumbers, provide technical guidance, and confirm ticket completeness. This position fills the gap between completed field work and final customer invoicing to ensure quality and accuracy. Responsibilities Review all plumbing service tickets including time, materials, pictures, and equipment to ensure the work performed matches the written description and meets industry/company standards Correspond with technicians to clarify any technical information Report quality issues or concerns to management, work through resolutions when applicable/directed Complete plumbing quotes based on technician recommendations, unit age/condition, industry standards, and customers' long-term goals Extract pull-through work from service calls and preventative maintenance visits Perform quality and cost control of all quoted plumbing projects throughout scope of work to maintain expected standards Develop meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty Communicate with customers regarding quoted work and provide knowledgeable and insightful information to enable customer to make an informed decision Follow up with customers on quoted plumbing work and coordinate with service team if approved Stay current with changing industry standards Work with team members to facilitate calls, manage workflow, and provide a positive customer journey Maintain an organized workspace and properly file documents, updates, and product information so it is readily accessible for reference Work with management to meet company goals and deliverables Minimum Qualifications Education/Experience High School diploma or GED Five (5) years' experience in mechanical service, mechanical field estimating, or related field OR Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields and two (2) years' experience in Project Management and/or estimating, at least two (2) years of experience in a leadership role in mechanical service operations Preferred Qualifications Plumbing or Mechanical Technical Expertise Field estimating experience Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Verbal & written communication skills Attention to detail and organization Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook * REWARDING YOUR PERFORMANCE * Competitive salary, commensurate with experience Company paid vacation and holidays Company health care, vision, & dental benefits 401k plan with Company match Company paid life insurance Education and training provided with monetary incentives available for education courses completed Eligible for performance and company-based bonuses Salary Range: $80k - $90k G.E.
