Job Description Job Description home link international Inc provides in home ABA services to children and youth diagnosed with autism, intellectual and/or developmental disabilities with the goal of improving their daily functioning. Behavioral Technicians create their own schedule based on theirs and the family's availability. Hours are generally spread out over 3-4 sessions during after school hours, evenings, and weekends to accommodate the children's school schedule. An average assignment is 10-15 hrs/wk for each youth. contact. Administrator/HR Responsibilities and Duties Implement ABA interventions specified in the Behavior Support Plan (created by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst) that assist the child/youth/young adult with acquiring, retaining, improving, and generalizing the skills necessary to function successfully in the home and community. These skills may be specific to improving behavior, improving his/her ability to self-help, improve socialization, or improving the individual’s ability to adapt to his/her environment. Supports are behavioral, self-care and habilitative related tasks performed and/or supervised by the Behavior Technician in the child's home, the home of a relative, or other community based living arrangement, in accordance with the approved behavioral support plans. Service Supports may include behavioral supports and training, adaptive skill development, assistance with activities of daily living and community inclusion which assist the youth to reside in the most integrating setting appropriate to his/her needs. Qualifications and Skills • Must be willing to go into the home of the families served for the authorized number of hours per week based on each referral., • Must comply with supervision from the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)., • Must hold a RBT, Bachelor's Degree in Education, Social Work, Psychology, or related Social Service field., • Must possess a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation (vehicle must be documented by the agency to be insured and registered)., • Must consent to and pass a criminal background check., • Must comply with all HIPAA (confidentiality) laws as it relates to Protected Health Information, CPR and first Aid., • Must be reliable, punctual, organized, and a self starter., • Must be creative, enthusiastic, and a team player!
