The Support Assistant will work at a Construction Site Office located in West Harlem with the Project Manager and Assistant Project Managers. The project is in the first year of a three-year in-place renovation project. The development contains six 20-story buildings with a total of 1,272 apartments (West Harlem). Construction includes unit access for full renovations of apartments, building masonry repairs, new roofs, heating system replacement, elevator overhauls, public hallways and lobbies renovations, grounds improvements. The Support Assistant will work with a small team representing Ownership, usually in close coordination with the general contractor, property management company and the on-site supportive service provider. Work will include evening meetings, generally once a month.
