Job DescriptionOverview Cardiovascular Technologist – Echo Tech | Glens Falls, NY, US | Start 06/25/2026 | Duration 13 weeks | Weekly pay $2,751–$2,864 | Guaranteed hours 0.0 | Shift 5x8 days (Mon–Fri, 8-hour shifts) | Travel assignment in a hospital setting Key Highlights • Weekly pay range: $2,751–$2,864 per week, • Contract duration: 13 weeks, • Shift: 5x8 days, 8-hour shifts, • Start date: 06/25/2026, • Orientation: 8 hours non-billable, • Travel assignment in hospital setting Responsibilities • Perform transthoracic echocardiography and related imaging for diagnostic assessment, including patient preparation, vessel and heart chamber imaging, and image documentation., • Operate and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment, ensure proper labeling and storage of images, and maintain adherence to imaging protocols and quality control standards., • Collaborate with cardiology and medical staff to interpret results and communicate findings per department guidelines., • Ensure patient safety and comfort, apply infection control practices, and maintain patient records in the electronic health system., • Support adolescent to geriatric patient populations with appropriate positioning, communication, and education as needed., • Assist with routine equipment maintenance and participate in department quality improvement activities. Requirements • License: New York state license to practice as a Cardiovascular Technologist/ Echo Tech (certifications accepted per job notes), • Certifications: ARDMS required; BLS certification required, • Experience: ARDMS credentialing required; experience with adolescent–geriatric populations required; prior traveler experience highly preferred, • Education: Not specified; applicable degrees in cardiovascular sonography or related field appropriate per ARDMS standards, • Onboarding and compliance: Must complete onboarding requirements including training from Welle (Verbal De-escalation bundle), CPI, or PMCS prior to start; 14-panel drug screen required within 24 hours of offer acceptance; 8 hours non-billable orientation, • Work eligibility: Ability to work in a hospital setting with Mon–Fri 8-hour days; 5x8 shift pattern, • Profile requirements: Work history; Skills checklist pertinent to the position; Supervisory reference within past two years; Licenses and certifications uploaded; Permanent address included in profile and matches license, • Travel restrictions: This assignment requires applicants not residing in certain New York counties (Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, Washington) to be eligible; perm address must be included in profile Find more opportunities For additional openings from Healthforce Healthcare LLC, please apply or visit the organization’s page to view other roles at https://healthforce.applytojob.com/apply PAY DISCLAIMER Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
