Job Description Host Responsibilities • Provide courteous, prompt service to our guests, • Check voicemails at the beginning and end of every service, • Understand Marcus Live Bar and Grille Host steps of service and consistently execute them with efficiency and grace while maintaining a sense of urgency throughout the service, • Be an expert in navigating Resy, • Ensuring coat check is clean and organized at the beginning and end of each shift, • Responsible for entering guest orders accurately into POS system (Toast) when guests order over the phone, • Communicate guest requests to management when they see anything noted on Resy, • Plotting the reservation book pre-service to optimize turn times and guests in the dining room for every shift, • Effective and timely communication to all FOH team members throughout the service, • Ensure menus are always clean.
