THE PROGRAM The VEG New ER Doctor (NERD) Program is specifically designed to transform recent graduates less than a year out of veterinary school into exceptional, confident VEG ER doctors. This six-month deep dive into the action of emergency is a structured, immersive program like no other that allows participants to transition into full-time ER doctors at VEG after successful completion. Through academic and clinical teachings that cover ER case readiness skills combined with our individualized approach to mentorship, NERDs are immersed in the world of ER, growing both personally and professionally and emerging ready to take on any case that walks through the door. If you're hungry to learn how to do ER, perform surgeries, advance your endoscopy skills, learn about exotics, and discover the unique rewards of customer-focused care in an open concept hospital, we want to say yes to training you in our NERD program. • It's a mentorship program, not an internship! Too often, mentorship is promised but not delivered. Advanced training provides the confidence and clinical experience you need to succeed in emergency medicine., • Small animal emergency surgery, • Small animal critical care lab, • Basics of abdominal ultrasound, • Abdominal, thoracic, and cardiac point-of-care ultrasound, • Flexible GI endoscopy, • Exotic companion animals in the ER, • A passion for helping others, • A valid DVM, VMD, or equivalent degree by March 2026, • A desire to live and breathe emergency medicine, • A valid license to practice veterinary medicine, as well as a valid DEA registration in the state you will be completing your program by your start date, • Ability to stand for prolonged hours, kneel, and work on the floor, as well as ability to lift up to 25 kg on own and able to support up to 40 kg with assistance., • Must be willing to work in a noisy environment with strong or unpleasant odors., • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating or as needed basis based on hospital demands., • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with people from all backgrounds and different personality types. Overview: The Director of Warehouse Operations is responsible for the strategic leadership, execution, and continuous improvement of all inbound, outbound, and inventory management functions across warehouse and distribution operations. This role drives operational excellence in a high-volume food manufacturing and distribution environment, ensuring product integrity, regulatory compliance, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery performance. The Director partners cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Transportation, Procurement, Quality Assurance, Food Safety, Finance, and Sales to align warehouse operations with overall business objectives. THE JOB The IAM Engineer is part of the IT Infrastructure team and is responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling VEG's SaaS ecosystem, including Okta, Google Workspace, O365, Workday, ChatGPT, Workvivo, and other integrated platforms. As an Associate Visual Designer, you'll play a key role in bringing the VEG brand to life across in-hospital environments, digital platforms, social channels, and marketing campaigns. WHAT YOU'LL DO • Design and produce omni-channel brand materials across OOH, in-hospital, print, social, digital, and campaign assets., • Create and edit light motion graphics using After Effects, including animating static assets, resizing video content, and producing engaging digital content., • Apply and evolve VEG's visual brand system, ensuring consistency while adapting it for new formats and emerging channels., • Prepare production-ready files across mediums, building expertise in print prepress/color management and digital optimization., • Collaborate cross-functionally with creative and marketing partners to align design work with strategic goals and customer experience., • Support scalable brand operations and multimedia initiatives, including organizing and maintaining brand assets/templates, assisting with video shoots and social edits, and contributing ideas in creative reviews to ensure cohesive brand expression across platforms.
